NEW*: There is a trend of late in PvP for people to have a teammate held in reserve without TEF to duel and deathblow their friends when diseases are applied to them. This is an issue for me as a doctor as it makes the hard earned cure disease skill useless. Its also an issue for my CM half, but that is for another place.

* Since Medcines requre as many or more diverse resoruces to make than a lot of the other crafting professions looks like we are stuck wasting 15-20 skill points in the artisan class. Not to mention having to be able to scout as well, since trying to buy meats is also a joke. I know from reading your posts that our developer is being bull headed about this, but like most developers also doesnt have a clue what goes on in the game. We need to hammer them on the head with this one till they see the light.


** Speaking of hammering on the head ....... Mind Damage is exactly what it says it is DAMAGE and Doc's CM's and Medics are supposed to be able to heal damage. This mind damage fiasco is not only going to eventually kill the medical professions but the whole game.


*** Have been running into a problem dragging players if fighting on hills or other steep slopes getting a message that this player is to far above/below you to drag even if they are within the drag limit.


**** Calling pet stimpacks a slap in the face is being way to polite. Being told to bend over and grab your ankles would describe it better.

Gallion: That's a pretty new issue, allright. I have a couple of concerns, though. First I would like to see if other folks agree that ths is an issue for us, so please start up a thread for it and we can see if there is support for the issue. Second, though, is you list a problem that appears to be with a set of player tactics, the question is what is a solution? We ahve to assume that we cannot change player tactics. If folks can do it, they generally will and will justify it as acceptabell since the game code allows it to happen. So there would have to be some kind of code-based change to prevent the behavior. The question is what should that be?


I would sadd, though, that when it comes to the issue from the Doc point of view, it sounds to me like something you would just talk to the DBer about and ask them to let you do the curing instead of just DBing those folks. In either case the duel/DB process is a consensual one, while curing was apparently not a consensual act in this case. Sothe REAL issue here, IMHO, is a CM one and that's probably the better place to bring it up, see what kind of support you can get (probably a lot from what I have seen) and get it onto Kavedawg's list. The big thing here, though, is to see if we can come up with some kinds of solutions over there, though, not just the satement of a problem.
