Just wondering but does this make anyone think potions here? I really think we are straying from the Sci-fi genre a bit too much here, I thought moving meds to BE without compensation was tough enough but now I know exactly what they plan for meds it only seems worse.

I'm really POed are how SOE released this information, or lack there of. I think poking the hornetts nest is a very bad idea. And releasing the information the way they did left more questions then answers.....most of with will probably be answered a little later. Which p!sses me off even more.


On the subject of crafting, I don't know. I have no idea what exactly BE will be taking from Docs, and I have no idea what Docs will be given to make up for it. I will say this....I spent 7 months getting the best resources on my server. And I'm going to be very upset if that 7 months goes unchecked. Not to mention the Year I spent getting resources on Gorath.


But I'm going to get out of this thread before I blow a gasket.

I am starting to see alot of people talking about "conversions" from now to the CU. I think this is one of the biggest things that is burning my a$$ right now. I'll try to explain this as simply as I can. The numbers I will be using here my be hypothetical so correction isint required.


Lets say the best non janta buff possible is 3000. To get that absolute best buff you would need perfect resources. Example 1000 OQ/1000 UT Tat fiberplast, 1000 OQ/1000 PE Lok wild wheat, 1000 OQ/1000 PE herb, etc...


If I had all these resources at 1/2 the quality they would hypothetically make a 1500 power buff at best.


In the CU health enhancers will give us a max of 20% more health I believe. So if you have the mastery to be at 3000 health the extra 20 percent adds 300 more health.


Lets take that 300 more health and look at it now. With resources that are 1/2 as good, 500 OQ/500 PE and so on, we now get an enhancer that adds 150 more health. To sum it up, the significance between having 3150 health and 3300 health doesnt seem that important to me. But the time spent gathering those near perfect resources to craft the best meds possible in the current system does sound significant. I am sure we can apply this the rest of the meds that will be crafted in the CU.


what seems more significant to you. 1 relative to0 and 2 or 1500 relative 0 and 3000?

no responce so far to this post. Is what I am saying here sound logical or am I simply loosing my mind? Or perhapse both.

that 20% buff could easily turn into a 40% buff in theory, im not sure but you never know

Heck I'll probably just gather a lot of buffs and sit around the starport spamming buffs via a MACRO just because the devs don't want us to do it...

I just made a post about current Adv Components.


Adv Dispersal Mech, Adv Infection Amplifiers and Adv. Resilience Compounds are used to make the enhancers. I think at least. I checked my Adv SDS 72 and crafted a new one. There is a big difference. I now think all old Adv Components need to be trashed since they did not convert in the CU. I'd gather no more Janta blood for Enhancers.
