There are two things I took away from Jeff's team comments:
1.) It wont be long before JTLS is released.
2.) This really s/b listed as 1 in importance..the bar will raised for the art content for JTLS. All I can say is Im very pleased to hear this.
I hope the same will be done planet side ( on the ground)maybe in a future revamp or expansion pack. Im not saying the art planetside is not bad but there's room for growthwhenyou look at sci-fi imagination factor, textures and everthing else that deals with art. Im also not talking about the terrain. The terrain is decent. Im referring to the buidings and other stuff pplanet side in general. I'll give you an example to put it in layman's terms and try to make somekind of sense: Have you ever seen a movie or or looked at sci-fi art work. Some of the buildings were veryalien looking and DISTINCT..not only thatFOR SOME OFTHE STRUCTURES THEYSHOULD MAKE YOU THE PLAYER FEEL SMALL ON A SCALE COMPARISON..HUGE ARCHWAYS HUGE DOORS HUGE BRIDGES ETC.... Then again whats the point since all the cities are all open structures and not much to do inside/ indoors. I do havea beef aboutless in door activities like combat. The cave dungeons and Corellian dont count as those s/b a given.
OK Im thruh ranting...

Are there any plans to release some more of the art/designs of SWG? Either on the web or in another book? A year as past, I'd love to see some of the newer concepts that were done during the progession of the game and maybe more that we've must from pre-launch.

Tell that to Hamtaro please.

Or in their haste with the Jedi "Revamp" they went ahead and "Revamped" the hampster in similar fashion... which basically would consist in cutting off 3 of his legs and tying his tail to the wheel. Hehe.

Hello
I am a long time fan of starwars. i have almost all of the books videos games. basiclly I have spent alot of money on the what i think to be a great epic story line. retired and very well to do so i have encouraged and indulged my 3 children in thier love of your works also. they own Kotor and jedi outcast and jedi academy, rouge squadron and most other games they bare the starwars name. well when Starwars galaxies came out I was looking forward to it! i spent around $5000.00 buying new computers and equipent so my children and I could coudl share this experiance toghter.
well sadlyI most report that my 2 sons and daughter have long since stopped playing thier bounty hunters and have went back to james bond 007 game. They found that what has happened to the bounty hunters in this game "stupid". well I being a huge fan of Boba Fett was also looking forward to the bounty hunter role also.
but after what will happen to the profession tomorrow i dont feel i can play the game anymore. I am sure that nothing you could say to SOE would change what the developers of SWG are doing to the game but I feel i ahve lost three future bigtime fans of Starwars.
Sincerly
