Yup and I don't like it. It should be based on how much you heal....just like XP is based on how much damage you do to a creature.






That's not how it is in CU though. You have a pool of exp per critter:


Kaadu = 1000 exp lets say: (here are some possiblities)


1000 Pistol or


1000Unarmed or


1000 Medical or


500 Pistol + 250 Medical + 250Unarmed (mostly pistol, light healing and light unarmed)


you get the idea. So it is the way you say, but with a cap.

What this does is allow us to get exp even if the group is healing itself or not taking enough damage for you to get any kind of real exp out of.

No...that part I understand....the part I don't is why should you get 100% combat xp for hitting a creature once. We should not get XP based on 1 heal. You should have to work up to the creatures cap...just like it is in live.


If you hit XXX 1 time for XX damage you get XX XP. Working up from that point... It's not that XP cap in the CU that bothers me...its the fact that it is "rewarding" people for doing....nothing except for 1-2 moves while letting everyone else do the work.


And I understand the XP is based on Group Level...and then Player Level....which is fine...but I should not get 1.3k xp for healing 1 point of damage. I should not get 1.3k combat xp for doing 1 point of damage.

Ah I see, I misunderstood. I see your point.


Weapons only need you to hit once too...


hmm not sure how you would fix that. I do not like the "whomever does the most damage takes the lions share though."

A calm place to "register", Buff, take care of wounds. I would like wound healing to still give exp in Medical Centers. Roleplay. Bonuses to healing if they do it. Where do you expect the Entertainers to go to get healed? We can't heal in cantinas you also can't expect everyone to have a medical droid.






I misspoke. What I should have said was "does anyone really expect healers to be in med centers and hospitals if there are no XP benefits to be gained there?


I understand that we're a combat profession in the CU, however I sincerely hope the devs put rear echelon healing back in the game.






There no reason to be there now. Unless you are doing something cheezy like healing tumblers.








We can do without the smart mouth soundingreplies...


If you consider wound heals, there is a reason to be in there currently...

I was over there testing when they droped this one...im leaving the test center for a bit.. They need to get them selves together over there.. This stuff is making no since to me at least... I dont know about any one else. I am not happy with the changes to medic so far. I cant really test doc yet, so have to reserve judgement there for a bit.
