That's not how it is in CU though. You have a pool of exp per critter:
Kaadu = 1000 exp lets say: (here are some possiblities)
1000 Pistol or
1000Unarmed or
1000 Medical or
500 Pistol + 250 Medical + 250Unarmed (mostly pistol, light healing and light unarmed)
you get the idea. So it is the way you say, but with a cap.
What this does is allow us to get exp even if the group is healing itself or not taking enough damage for you to get any kind of real exp out of.

No...that part I understand....the part I don't is why should you get 100% combat xp for hitting a creature once. We should not get XP based on 1 heal. You should have to work up to the creatures cap...just like it is in live.
If you hit XXX 1 time for XX damage you get XX XP. Working up from that point... It's not that XP cap in the CU that bothers me...its the fact that it is "rewarding" people for doing....nothing except for 1-2 moves while letting everyone else do the work.
And I understand the XP is based on Group Level...and then Player Level....which is fine...but I should not get 1.3k xp for healing 1 point of damage. I should not get 1.3k combat xp for doing 1 point of damage.

I misspoke. What I should have said was "does anyone really expect healers to be in med centers and hospitals if there are no XP benefits to be gained there?
I understand that we're a combat profession in the CU, however I sincerely hope the devs put rear echelon healing back in the game.
We can do without the smart mouth soundingreplies...
If you consider wound heals, there is a reason to be in there currently...
