This is my point. Doctors and Medics ARE service professions. We exist to provide a service to our customers. That is exactly what we are in the game. We EXIST to heal and buff. Some of us just heal and buff ourselves, some of us heal and buff our guilds and some of us heal and buff anyone with 10K-15K-20K-30K-50K-100K. The entire value of becoming a doctor is to be able to heal and buff!

In our land of make-believe we provide a service. If you ever held a service job you know that not everyone in the real world is nice, kind and considerate to you. Imagine the exponential blossum of rudeness when they can be rude to you from behind the guise of thier toon? My alt is a tailor, you don't think that tailors have these same issues? They get them over a 500 credit pair of boots!!!

So while we continue to propagate and encourage whiner threads let's not for a second get confused of what we actually are. We provide the service that make the game playable. But in the end it IS a service.

PS - Again, no Latin but "exponential blossum","guise" and "propagate" should make up snob points for the typo last time.

I agree.
I've been a Medic since day one (spending most of my time in a tumbler free Theed med center) and I came into the game fully expecting that other people would solicit my help. If you don't want to be bothered (as I am whenever someone wants to go from one end of a planet to another for a buff, if they want a buff right before the planterary shuttle is about to take off, etc) just turn off your tag. Unless someone happens to notice you (with me this usually happens with people I've PVPed with) then you don't need to worry about unwanted solicitatons. As for buffs, I usally charge 10k for a full set and 5k for just PVP buffs. But then again I have combat medic and rifles so I can run good missions to get most of my money. With just buffs I would barely break even
