On the same hand.. You could pick up doc, for the cashflow....

so could a BE, but i was not advocating picking up cm for cash flow: you can make dispersal mechanisms easily in low-level cm crafting.and to make much cash as a doc, you really need master, and that leaves very few points to have any replacement offensive capability to replace poison/dz.

but in reality, you will likely nave no trouble buying dispersal mechanisms.

no, wait, i saw this game... "pong" i think it was called. it was really easy to understand! maybe you could make swg more like pong! think of it! fast paced action! iconic characters! MORE FUN!

Ohh, im sure they will be avialable, but they shouldnt be required.... If they want to make it class dependant, Chef or BE would be a better choice.. BE if i got to pick... They need some cash flow badly...

Or, just like you sort-of mentioned... The componenets could be in novice med, and the good ones in CM.. that way trades could be set up.

like CM's have cash flow, lol. but you can pick up CM crafting easily, since you only need master medic to go CM, and the medical crafting xp is the same as for doctor.

Actually, you need Master Medic, and Ranged Support 4 in order to pick up Novice CM.

Name me one thing before this that CMs can sell to the public (non-CMs) for credits. Oh, by the way, did you know that a Master CM gets no cash increase for destrooy missions?

How is this any different then a Doctor? Doctors mainly make supplies for Doctors. CM makes supplies for CM. Doctors can sell stims, sure, but so can a CM if they want to sell 'cheap stims'.

CM has more offensive grunt- in PvE, stacked poisons and diseases actually can matter a lot. And the focus on CMs is to be out in the battle fields healing squad damage.

As a CM/Doc, I like all the changes. I also know about 20 CM/Docs who craft supplies - the two make a nice combination support character. Almost like a BE/Chef.

Again, CM is a SUPPORT class like Doctor and Medic. It's not designed to be the massive damage dealer, offensive class.

Didnt feel like looking through all the posts, but I was curious why they put conductivity down as an experimentation requirement for these items when none of the resources used aremetal. Not a serious issue, but one that I thought was kind of funny.

Same reason they made 40 Horn a requirement for the new Wookie Armor, which they then had to go back and change. They don't play the game and don't know any better.

CM's need Doc components for Area Stims and Ranged Stims. It's only good that Docs have to rely on a CM to get these done, then when no one wants to buy poison anymore, maybe we can sell a few crates of Dispersal Mechanisms.. Btw, you can replace the Dispersal Mechanisms with Rancor Bile in CM schematics, so I'm sure you can do that here. See no dependancy anymore..

A CM does not need a Doc to provide the components for the Area/Ranged Stims. A CM has 5 experimentation points from the medic tree to make the required components. Docs justmakesthose components better.

A Doc needs a CM for the DM, as the Doc does not get the benefit from medic to make CM components.

Yes a Doc can use Rancor Bile in lieu of DM's, but a CM can use Janta Blood in lieu of ABEC.

What, exactly, is Creature Food? Someone said it is any meat, and that is the ONLY thing that qualifies as the schematic resource "Creature Food". Correct or incorrect?

Thanks

Yes it's any organic meat

Anything from the Medic schematics... Stims, woundpacks....

Docs dont get any offensive skills at all.... No defensive ones either.... Hmm..

Have these things actually tested? Because currently if the CM has poisons that are 100+ potencyit will alwaysstick because its 100% even if you cap poison resist on clothing/armor, so unless they changed the way poison/disease resist or potency works they are going to be useless.

Great idea, Extremely poor implemementation.

If the rescources dont change, expect exactly 0 of the advanced ones to be made.

As of right now.. None of tha advanced rescources exist on Sunrunner at all.

Combine all thatwith the fact that we NEED TO BUY COMPONENTS FROM A CM to build aC' pack.... If you were a cm, would you sell them? If cm's needed doc components for poison and disease packs, fine, but they dont.

From the testcenter stats ive seen on these... They will last about an hour for a c' level resist pack. They require more rescources than a regular buff pack, and more specific components... Whos gonna pay 5k for 1 hour of disease resists? Not to mention, there wont be any overt's getting this.. Nobody likes a tef...

Loose the CM stuff, loose the new non-existant rescourses....Give us a BE component, and maybe a chef component... Or just fix cm like you are supposed to.

I agree totally other then the getting the CM componets that is there are plenty of CMs in my guild that want these made to help us CMs might stick together but thier bond is not as strong as that of the imperials

Heh, just as feared. 2 additional meats that I now need to watch out for and both will be a royal pain

1. Tat Herb - not as bad as Avian (thank goodness) but still a pain

2. Dom. Meats - granted, I'm going by memory here, but there are very few mobs that actually drop this meat - and it's not plentiful.

At least it's something new, thats a good thing.
