I am buying them until I gather enough resources to make them. Having only 4 lots limits ones mining capabilities. Baby steps.

That said I'll continue to buy after I reach master Doc. I'm not in this to hunt resources and I find reasonably priced packs for MD's all the time.

Novice to master doc done in one 8 hour day. that includes crafting. Its not that hard.

I craft all of my own products. I interleave occasional production
runs with a friend who is a Master Chef who runs an active cantina, so
our factories are rarely idle. On occasion I'll just sit and craft
400-power stim-B's and use up my low-end or supersceded resources, then
sell them individually on the Bazaar for less than the competition.

I happen to like crafting, and take pride in maintaining a high quality
at a reasonable cost, but I can see how some other personalities would
be driven batty by it.
