Glad you enjoyed it. I so do miss the old NPC cities being filled with people... being a doc then was awesome.

Master Doctor Maxer buffs

my buffs are currently 2358 to each stat except for action which is at 2522 and all for 3hrs 20mins

since mastering doctor give us a higher battle level doctor need something to give it a reason to be master cause atm stacking combat stuff beats doctor and other class in PvE all the time. maybe a personal damageincrease buff that only works on the doctor, or a better buff or even some melee defense and range defense.


atm most items do nothing likeenchancer barely addanything and droids add a hole 5mins, compared to the old 3hr long.I think buff should go back to 2+ hours, i dont see why not nothing keeping them at 40mins atm, apart from making doctor in long hunts important.


heal spray has too little heal power for any real use, apart from at low combat level cause they have low health and fight weaker stuff.


only good things i can see is Spray cure disease, i havent been able to use this as i havent seen one person disease YET, even the GDK doesnt disease anymore. Spray poison cure same thing whole group cured of poison again it isnt being used enough. Resurect but CM has a skill simpler to it fast but give the player more wounds when done.


right now in SWG Doctor could easily be renamed to Field Doctor, that all i do is go hunting in a group with master TK and Doctor heal res and general tanking for a group.


doctor has nothing that anyone really need CM has far better skill DoT a resurate skill and heals.

Playing DEVils Advocate here, If the buffs are brought back up to the 2 to 3 hour range how will that cure the percieved problem of docs sitting at the star ports selling buffs all day.

I doubt that many players will wait in a line to get a 10% buff, even for 2 or 3 hours. The PvP'ers maybe. But they'd do much better taking foods. Just my 2 credits.

I am sure if SOE will fix the wound getting from pre-CURB to CURB doctors will be needed again. Currently player will get no wounds when they fight. When player die, they will get 100 wounds at most. At a health about 2000 - 3000 this really matter nobody.


Else I hope SOE will fix fast the fire/poison/disease damage - if this would hurt again, player would need a doc again on fight.


So don't lose your hope. SOE gave us now the bacta shot 2. They are doing something for the doc, so I think they will fix this too
