Thread: Changes on vendors(merchant skill change)..Please read
the funny thing is that only people with 2 or more accounts ask for the "true merchant".

I think the number of venders will drop dramatically, the ability to find what you want will be reduced, and the trade forums will have hundreds of posts a day. The barter system will become a common practice. Problem is you can only trade with someone when they are on-line, it will be a pain. Oh, and the person selling won't be paying that 10% or whatever the merchants will charge, the customer will. That 100k crate of buffs will now cost you 110K.

Im gonna have enough skill points to Master Doctor get Business 3 and get most of a Combat Profession, with three boxes left over. Get over it and if you want a vendor sacrifice some of your combat skills OR have someone else run a vendor for you...its simple.

This is exactly how I feel about it. No vendors, ok, we'll make our money buffing, and by selling it at 3x the rate.
So i'm a master Doctor + master Architect.I don't sell buffs,i have business 4..i should be o-k with this change because i have 1 vendor,i did not know about it before on being able to go novice and put down another vendor and quit it...so i'm o-k with it right? WRONG!I have 1 vendor FULL of Wedding food and junk i don't want to mess with anymore.I JUST started on the profession Architect and i'm wanting to have a merchant tent and2vendors,problem is that i CANNOT find a Merchant! And i gotta start my business soon because every type of storage i have is full at 100%,bank,Hospital,backpack,invortory (well invortory has 98% as i can buy a ticket in and out of planets) and most of the junk thats crowding my invortory is my architect supplies,So i cannot afford Skill Points for novice merchant and 0/0/0/1, and i cannot find a merchant..so i'm stuck. So will a TON of other people,My friend has a merchant tent with3 vendors..so what this nerf will destroy his vendors and his load of stuff in the vendors in it? oh and i rather not rely on someone that could steal my stuff easy..because i need a vendor...OH! never thought about that? what if you was selling something for 1 million credits,something VERY rare,you offer to vendor,s/he buys,never puts it in the vendor..oh and whos money is all this money going to? if you sell something you can't really tell because s/he gets the emails.and s/he haved to tip you back the money right? ...Gee Very NICE system SOE! And for the "oh since we can't have vendors and theirs less docs lets charge 3x on buffs" i go with that! if i can't have another vendor or 2 i'll haved to quit architect. whitch i DONOT want to do. i may have missed somthing here..but if thats the system...thats sure to be on a complain ticket.
