but the fact that medics have been left out of missions terminals is a huge issue...

and its directly related to the issue of avenues for money making for medical professionals...

not really. (As I also posted in te medic board).

Any medic terminal that you would get from the devs, would have missions you would never want to do...

Any mission attractive enough to make you want to stop healing PCs, would be too much.

What is a good medic mission 4k wounds for 2k cr? 100 wounds for 400 cr?

medic types are already one of, if not the fastest XPing professions in the game. I am willing to bet there are more master doctor, per doctor players, then masrter anything else per players of anything else. Med XP has been too fast forever.

So any mission that would be attractive, would have to give med Xp even faster than that... scary.

While any money from the med missions would by definition be higher than 99% of medic types get from players... it causes an even bigger problem.

If med missions are better than healing people (either in XP, CR or both.. then nobody will heal the players). The med center healing NPC better go in as well on this one, because there will be no medics anyplace near hurt PCs if a good mission is available.

I put it on the medic list, and am sure Zarlor will see to it here as well... it seems really unlikely from where i'm sitting... the results could damage the game quite a lot.

aside from assembly type missions (glorified delivery missions for artisan's with a little GCXP on top) i dont know how they could make a medic specific mission. Then again, I heard that the scouting missions will include hunting missions, which basically expects you to go out and kill X amount of critters (I'd assume its limited by location but honestly dont know). I guess they could do healing missions like that, do X amount of healing within this area and this amount of time and you get a cookie (or some credits). Just like running around and hunting critters is what a scout is likely to do anyway, hanging around a med center or hunting group and healing is what medics do anyway. So why not givethe medicsa "cash bonus" for doing their thingas well?

Factory only took one lot for me. But my small house took 2, which kinda doesn't make all that much sense, since I think the medium house takes2 as well.....

Lots are my numer (sic) one concern right now -- I've got Dantooine berry fruit to collect, dangit!

Ok, I must be blind(bad pun) but I cannot find a heal blindness in the doctor tree, or in the my crafting kit.

Where is it?

I group mostly. Almost all my XP comes from it. It's by far faster than sitting in a Med center. In groups I have seen the effects of stun, blind, dizzy, poison and disease. Stun reduces your damage output to less than half. Blind reduces your accuracy. Dizzy used to knock you on your heiney. Not sure now. Poison will kill you if not healed. Disease is VERY nasty stuff. I've had my whole mind bar reduced to 1 from a single application of disease on Endor.

Money is an issue, sorry.

Factories are an issue... sorry.

I don't agree with your assesment of the number one concerns. I feel the list is vaild for a majority of my issues.

Kamat, it's called Blind State Medpack A. Easy to miss.

As for the states not being effective, like I said above, if you think some of the states don't seem to do anything, you haven't found the right beastie to put you into a really bad version of that state yet.

Dizzy CAN knock you down, seen it happen a lot on Endor. That knocdown can easily get you killed.

Disease, as mentioned, there is pretty nasty as well. I keep my state packs always at hand, especialy on advanced planets. The problem with ste packs right now is the stupid timer bug. If I use a state pack I'm stuck waiting out the full non-Diag time before I can stim or state-heal again. Same if I Stim myself. Stupid things just don't recognize fully that they should be working on the Diagnostics timer. 3 secs between hits for us Docs, max!
