Thread: Correspondence Issues Update
No.
They never bothered to give me the courtesy of a response. I suppose I am currently in the process of simply turning the other cheek as they continually slap me with these kinds of insults.
If you are interested in bumping up the thread a bit more, to keep some interest (I do it daily, just to be an annoying squeky wheel) check out the following thread on the main SWG discussion forum.

We did, finally, get some respojnse there, but it was a red herring response, jsut enough to placate most people who didn'r quite realize that Holo never actually answered the question posed in the thread. Namely, where is the communication we are asking for and where are the actual answers to the correspondence issues we presented? None of those have been responded to, and as such we are still, in effect, being ignored. Their inadmission is an admission in itself, IMHO.
I can bump it..but I also squeezed in a note to holo :-)

Once again the Devs aren't talking to US about this stuff, but at least we are seeing some information trickle in about one of the issues mentioned above, Mind Damage.
Both responses below are by Holocron with links to the thread were he makes the statment. I knowthese threads arementioned elsewere onthif sorum, but I thought it would be nice to have all of therelavent responses consolidated in this particular thread.

"We were thinking slightly differently--basically, that someone able to heal mind would have something that works kind of like a DoT--a slow form of healing that requires them to stay near the target for a while. We were even thinking that maybe it could apply to all healing, so that healing was less spell-like, but that'd be a pretty radical change for the medical professions... we thought it would be a bit too much."

"We don't know yet. Several possibilities have been discussed. I've participated in discussions about:
* letting squad leaders heal it
* letting entertainers heal it in the field
* letting medics heal it, but take mind wounds
* letting someone heal it but slowly, so they have to stand next to the healee for a substantial amount of time (and need covered, etc)
* adding a new camp type that only heals mind pool
I'm sure there's even more ideas floating around."
