Itipped tumblers plenty 5k a box. Thanks to tumblers I made 4440 doc from novice medic in a couple days. Thank you tumblers!

Oh, and for all the tumbler haters out there. I heal every body I see that needs it even now as a master doc when I don't need the exp. Lucky for me I do it out of the kindness of my heart cause I rarely even get a thank you for healing let alone a tip.

I tip tumblers, I'm also the sucker who gives credits to those people who send tells: "Can I have 3k. I just started".

I tend to base the amount on what I get out of it. If there are tons of people healing and I don't get much xp I will give a smaller tip than to the guy who is not being healed and I level multiple times from his services. I know this has nothing to do with the person tumbling, but more with who is around, how many tumblers, etc etc... but I still think it is a fair way to judge.

I can see both sides. I can see how AFK tumbler annoy some peeps, but I left mine on AFK cause I was helping others by doing it. I know there are more honorable ways of getting your XP, but truthfully sitting in a hospital is boring as hell. I drop my tumblers the SECOND someone comes in. I dont even ask who or if anyone needs healing, I just target and if they need it I have a macro set to heal all their wounds.

I am glad I made this post. I can see how each side feel much clearer than before. Too many good points were made for me to quote and respond. I have to agree there are better ways, but if you go the tumbler route then no big deal either.

I must say I was heal wounds on a burning bantha today. If you want to consider that lame as tumbling go ahead, I do, but I was laughing so damn hard I almost wet myself. If you havent done this you gotta try it. Burn the bantha when it drops /healdamage and it gets up. Keep it awake as much as possible, when it's health bar is mostly black start healing wounds. It gets up and almost instantly drops again with a painful scream. LOLOL I dont think have laughed this hard playing the game. I dont know why it was just hella funny.

By the way I dont see myself burning tha bantha again unless i need a laugh. It's much more fun to heal in combat. I swear as dumb as it was it was a good 30 minutes or more of laughing. call me nuts

I found healing tumblers deadly dull, worse if fighting a crowd of healers for the XP. My preference is hunting for black bars in crowds. But tumblers are a great way to finish off that level, and I tip so there will be someone there the next time I want to. It is stupid not to look for and heal the actual wounded, the XP is better and, as was mentioned, it is on a different timer.

But I dislike beg-spam tumblers, it is noisy enough without them. You would get more from me just silently tumbling. Even once in 5 minutes starts to look like a lot after you have been there a while

tumblers are thelamest thing in the game. No better way to cheapen the title of master doctor than healing a f^&king tumbler. It pisses me off. Thats why when I see them, i throw one of my "failure" buffs on them. (and i always carry my failure buffs for that reason)

I have only this to say.....

Tipping isnt MANDATORY.....

And dont get self-righteous and say that you tip everyone all the time with huge amounts of cash....

I have been an entertainer, and gone from novice to master musician in coronet city, and only raked in 10k in tips and that was while I was online... I am one of the few people that play and dont go afk, unless I have to, and usually log out when I know I am going to be gone for more than 10 minutes.

And so far with my Doctor, I have earned roughly 45k from healing, and spent it all on travel... Thank god I got a good guild to support my resource needs, if I had to depend on tips from ppl, like you appearantly have to, I wouldnt be able to be where I am.

Tumblers... you sicken me with posts like this cause all you are doing is whining about how you dont get paid for the exp we medics and doc's earn from you.... you want cash? go freaking earn it with missions... And your the same players that wont tip an afk dancer...

Tumbling isnt a healing profession and you shouldnt get paid for abusing a skill... and yes it is abuse.

And when was the last time any of you tipped the medic or doctor or Combat medic for healing you while you were tumbling?

find a new place to tumble, dont beg for tips, and dont demand tips either.

Sure your giving medics a way to grind exp... but your also taking away from those that really do need healed....

I got a majority of mine "Stealth Healing" as I called it. I would run around coronet looking for black bars and just healing them. On occasion I would get tipped. I would send a tell to the person after the first heal telling them I was getting med xp the old fashioned way. Then I would thank them for letting me heal them up. I had one guy run off after the first heal, and then come back a minute later thanking me and letting me finish up the other stats. I would also Diagnose everyone. Because those secondary stats get wounds too, and sometimes nohealth/actionwounds and 200+ on the substats.

I got really into my role as a stealth healer, laughing while i was doing it. I only wish I had a black cape with hood that I could wrap around myself as I was sneaking up on those wounded.

I also did have some people ask me if I wanted them to tumble for me. I always turned them down. So one soul decided that I should kill her repeatedly and then heal up the wounds. lol. Once she cloned she scouted out wounded for me also, telling me to come to the cloner cause there were wounded. lol. Yes it was great fun and great interaction with people while I was doing that.

Well a few nights ago I tipped the tumbler that had helped me get all the medic xp. And when the person noticed I got told that please dont tip me as I dont play here. It appears that the tumbler just had made a tumbler to help us medics/docs out, how nice of the person to do such a thing. On a darker side, I never got my tip back though. :/ But I can live with the loss of a few measly credits. No to try and help others in need.

Cheers.

I tip tumblers if they're not flying a AFK tag and respond to chat. Otherwise, why would anyone want to reward someone for playing the game when they're...not...playing?

I've only used tumblers when I had a LOT of xp to grind and the med center was busy anyway with people looking for wound heals. That way, I can trade out and actually provide a service while mindlessly grinding through a skill box to two (because grindingalways makes me feel the slightest twinge of guilt). I usually slap an action buff on the tumbler and then wait for his HAM to deplete while I apply wound heals to people who come in looking for them.

The saddest thing I have ever seen was a med center with 10 aspiring medics (half of whom were at least master medics) taking turns at3 AFK tumblers, while 2 or 3 people withsevere woundshaving to sit and wait for their wounds to regenerate on their own because not one of the would-be medics could be bothered to treat them. Oneyoung ladywas so grateful that she tipped me 15K.

Of course, now that I've depleted my skill points I don't have to worry about that so much anymore...

I never tip AFK tumblers. I don't like the idea of setting an AFK macro while sleeping and expecting to gain credits like this.
But I ALWAYS tip ATK tumblers. I even saw a guy using tumble to kneeling/prone/standing and jumping like this everywhere in the center for hours !!! This guy spent his own time for this and it was entertaining as well

I do. I tipped my tumblers 2,500 credits per lvl I gained. I know it can be frustrating when you tip a tumbler and someone else comes by and just starts dogging you out and taking all the XP, but sometimes that happens.

I have just noticed that for the past week I have left my player tumbling in the med center with a request for tips every 3 or 4 minutes. I come home in the morning and log back in once the servers are back up and find I made all of 0 credits. yet my wife has told me that people are constantly healing me all night until she goes to bed. So thats 12 hours of tumbling and no tips. Sometimes I do come home and see a 500 tip from one person. Kinda sad. Yeah I am AFK, but I am also helping get them XP. So tonight she told me people were all around healing me, but my balance had not changed. I told her to kill the macro.

I tipped people all the way up, even people that got used by other grinding medics. Do you tip? Why or why not? No flames please. Just let me know your reasons for tipping or not tipping without ripping into me. Thanks.

No but I give them free Strength and Quickness Buffs.
