If you look at the emails, you'll notice it's from "bank" and not from a person. If it was "faked", then it wouldn't say Bank on it it would say a persons name.

Even though her character was invisible to you, if you were in spatial chat .. you would have seen that your stats were enhanced and by whom. The same if you clicked the combat tab. At that point, instead of complaining that you couldn't see her .. you could have paid her. I don't understand where the problem is and why her character had to be visible in order for you to realize who buffed you and whom you should have paid. Obviously, Furry wasn't answering you, nor was he buffing you. If I buffed you, before you paid and you can clearly see that I did .. I'd submit a ticket as well, regardless of my invisibility.
But ... In another view .. I wouldn't have buffed you until you paid.

This has always been my policy. I don't know why any buffing doc would start a buff without getting paid the full amount. This would solve any problems of this sort.

Well Baleorg, when I tip someone, and the receipt is in my email. it does in fact say bank on it as well. So.... ya, it would say bank on it too as well as the one you send the doctor. Unless there's a way to have the sender "bank" without it going through the bank?

When you are buffed by someone you can't see, I believe it says %TT instead of their name, b/c your client has no reference to fill that variable with... if so, he wouldn't have seen the name of the person buffing.

erg.. i try to reexplain...
PlayerA (DOC): buffing for 10k.. banktips.. bla...
PlayerB banktips
PlayerC trys to scam, waits a bit after A is buffed and a few others start to complain about where is my buff i paid
playerA: sorry but i dont have any email from you (that measn from BANK of course that player B paid)
playerC: yes i did paid.. here. i give you my receipt
playerC: writes email to PlayerA (because when you FORWARD
mails you get YOUR name on it)
subject: FW: Bank transfer complete...
> 10000 Credits from PlayerC has been delivered from Escrow to PlayerA
[well you knwo what it says]
so... it can be a real one.... or it could be a faked one, bencause YOUR name is on it..
when YOU tip a doc, YOU get a email stating that the Doc has got the money.. THIS email you can forward to him as proof.
OR you can write the SAME text as fake since we cant tell a difference..
gotcha?

I don't think it's possible in this game to actually bank tip someone, and have them not receive it. If the bank tip is done right, it's a certainty the recipient will get it.
People rely on the fact that a lot of folks will think, oh well - game bug - it happens. It doesn't happen, though. Think about it - anytime you've sent anyone a bank tip, has it ever just "disappeared?" Why does it only "disappear" when they're paying for a Doctor buff?
Anyone who tries that with me gets a littlemacro I've set up just for this very occasion.
"Oh, please - if you bank tipped me I would have received it and you would get your buff - this game does not lose bank tips. If you sent it to the wrong person, that's your problem. I have 25 million credits in my bank. Do you honestly think I made them all by ripping off people for 10k each? Next, please."
(PlayerX throws a 3-year old quality tantrum)
"Welcome to my ignore list. You're now only wasting your own time. You'll also never receive a buff from me so long as I play this game. Good luck."
/addignore PlayerX
(Add PlayerX to notepad list of banned players)
"Next, please."

BTW:
My doc alt goes invisible to some people, sometimes.
I can still buff them, but they can't see me.
Usually having them run about 250m away from me and back again makes me appear on their client.
I get disappearing things all the time. My favorite pasttime is to run around in the field where Theed Spaceport *should* be, and run over the boundary between where the building usually is and the grass starts. People ask me how I'm running through the Spaceport building. I tell them I'm using the Force.

Although I understand the original posters issue, it is hard to sympathize as I have been on the other end of this problem with a scam attempt. I only line buff at the Dant Mining Outpost and find that 99% of the time I will get tipped without any problems. Because of that I will tend to start buffing people immediately while they go through the tip process. This speeds up the process by not having to wait for someone to bank tip you. I take a chance doing this but, have seldom lost a tip.
One night however a wookie walked up to me and startsasking me for a buff but says he can't see me. He had no problem stopping at the right place in front of me howeveror addressing me by name. Difficult to imagine he knows my name if he can't see me. As usual I hit the first stat and tell him that I can see him and to just bank tip me. At this point I decide to wait to buff anymore stats till he tips. After a minute or two he admits that he can not bank tip as he really has no money.
I told him the buff was over and added him to my no buff list.
So sometimes it is a scam.
