I don't think it will to be hoenst. Space is the raeson a lot of people waited this game out and the only reason they stay. With the upcoming combat rebalance and potential armor / Buff changesthe fabric of our proffesion is going to change considerably from what it has become. I for one an really really excited about it

People will get tired of the space too eventually. And even though I agree that a lot of people have been waiting for JTL for a long time, there are also an equal amount of people that never cared too much for the space expansion.

And yes, combat balance will change buffs as well as armor. But in my opinion no matter what, both will continue to always represent an advantage for the players that have them.

But yeah, Im looking forward to what the Devs have in mind for us Docs in the combat balance too.

Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime,
Therefore, we are saved by hope.
Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history;
Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone.
Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite a virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own;
Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

JTL is an amazing thing for the surveying Doc - or surveyors in general. Looking for dolovite and C4 petrol, I covered every planet in the galaxy in less than15 mins. Land -check survey tools for the shift list - sample if found -launch - rinse - repeat. Didn't cost me a thing and I found some great resources (or in the case of C4, just finding any at all is reward enough!)

I'm not naive enough of course to think that the huge reduction in the cost of doing business for the resource broker will ever get passed on to the customer however..

The SWG Forums. You will never find a more wretched hive of
catassery and buttmonkeyism. We must be cautious.

Why bother healing when you are working on pilot. You will cap at 1000 bf and like 200 on all stats left. No point in healing if your working on pilot. It doesnt get any lower after a certain point. I stopped healing myself after I found that out.. Waste of time

great time to grind doctor but a bad time for crafting doctors, sales has shot down!! mayday mayday!! requesting assistance!!

You don't have to craft as much and can spend a bit more time doing something else.

I agree. Sales have gone down across the board for almost allmy crafter accounts and not just doc (except for CM meds and grenade PUPs, probably cuz they are harder to find).

This has turned out to be a good thing for myself, personally, as I find more time to get out there and do the other fun stuff that I never used to have the time for. Added to that, the increased factory wait-times from the fixed complexity factor has also ensured that I have more enforced free time to get my butt into space. Haven't seen black bars on myself for sometime now. LOL.

Adjustments have to be made here and there but all-in-all, a good change of pace and variety.
