On Eclipse the price would only be limited to the bank accounts of those that want it. Just hope there are a few out there with 20+ mil in the bank as it is easily worth that on some of the servers. Not 100% sure on radiant as I've never played on it.

Probably beacues if 10 mil means nothing to you then you can afford to get stuff like that. Just shows how out of whack the economy is and why Holocrons consistently seel for 3 million (starting to look like more and more are going fo 5 million now). And some folks thing they are doing well as a Doc to a 1 mill in the bank.

My guess is that to some folks 10 mil is like paying 100 cr for a lot of other folks for something. It's just a drop in the bucket.

Probably most anything has a chance to dro it. There are rare drops that just randomly occur. SOmeties they are a one in a million thing, though. You do improve your chances of getting better loot off of higher end MOBs, though, like Dark Jedi, FS-types, Dark Troopers, Rebel Marshals and so on.

I feel like, if you are a doctor, such a thing could make a noticeable difference between yourself and any market competitors, not a night and day difference, but one that may win market share in a field that names its price on highly consumable items. As to Holocrons selling for 3 million, I say this belt may be worth more than a holocron because it is much more rare. Now that I have thought it over, I may keep it, if it doesnt sell, and go into business as a chemist =)

Thanks for your thoughts and help. They are really flipping out in the auction thread. Some get it but dont have the money, others say Im crazy. Hopefully someone with the money will get it. =) If I sell it I intend to fund my Jedi holocron drive, make a Jedi someday and use the Force to harvest Avian and Herb meat for my PA.

I've been selling meds on radiant for many months now. It would not make that much of a difference. This is not a feeling, this is what I know from making many drugs. As for setting your price on highly consumable items.... you got doctors confused with armorsmiths

I can understand that. I do too. You must have much more money than I do though if you can afford to spend that much on something that make your product only marginally better. If I had10s of millions of creds,I might spend 10 million on it too, just so my meds would be slightly better than others.

That is what I wanted to know though, if you were willing to spend that much because of a business reason or for some other reason.

10 millions ? 20 millions? Jesus Christ, where is the Credit Duping going to stuff. I might have to buy 20 millions of credits for $20 at this rate.

20 mill is not hard to get. I know a guy on gorath who has topped the 100 mill max. Oh course he was the first weaponsmith on grorth. I am sitting anywhere from 1 mill to 10 mill at any given time. Once I buy suppleis I go down once I sell my meds I go up. Again I am the most sought out doc for meds on gorath.

I have millions of credits myself and that's mostly from selling resource.

And the credit duper or credit buyers are certainly making it easy for me to make millions in credits every week just selling resource.

I'm not flaming, I'm just trying to understand what it is I am missing here.

I realize it is two extra experimentation points, but what exactly is that going to do for you as a doctor?

Pretty much everything I make is already maxed out in power, so this would only add a few extra charges, for the most part. I suppose you could also experiment down the med use for a few items, maybe make some Stim Ds that only need 30 or Es that need 40, but is there a huge untapped market for these items that I am unaware of that would justify paying 10 million credits for this belt? The other item would be in some enhance packs with lower med use for the non-master doctors that want to buff, but again, would it be that big of a difference and increase your sales that much to be worth 10 million credits?
