you can make a fortune by just buffing, you can make over a 50% profit if you buy your buffs, even more if you make them.

i'm on bloodfin so the going rate for buffs is 8-10k, i bought a 50 crate of each buff for 5 mil, 27 uses for each kit. thats 1350 full sets of buffs, times 10k equals 13.5 mil, minus 5 mil for costs is a grand total of 8.5mil profit. go buy more buffs and you have 3.5 mil left over, repeat untill you can buy the resources needed to make your own kits and then it will be tons of profit

or drop doc and pick up armorsmith and sell some comp armor for way too much like everyone else does

well then, TKM is way better for killing NPC's with good loot that you can sell on the trade fourms. Rifleman is better for PvE mission running.

i say TKM because nightsisters spellweaversare fun to kill and you can make a few million off the night sister bicep armor by itself if the armor has mods it cango for more. the nightsister armor shards and layers go for a good bit to armorsmiths. and if you kill nightsister rangers you can get mind fire lances that can be sold for about 10 million to the right buyer

Well.... I'm Master Doc/ Master Rifleman and I would have to disagree with all the people posting that Master TKA is better for PvE. While you are lvling up I would say TKA is better while working your way to master. But at master Rifleman will kill faster than a commando with a flamethrower.

Once you reach Master Rifleman use Strafe2 I clear rooms full of tuskens 10-20tuskens SOLO. It takes about 5 shots my strafe2 and the whole room is cleared. Granted I have to pay attention to my mind and I am a food/drink/spice junkie but I clear a room full of 10k ham NPC's before a flamethrower could tick twice. As far as nests you can clear all the animals around the nest in 1-4 shots depending on the animal. Haven't tried NightSisters since I reached master so I can't tell you how well it will work against those nasty little buggers(KD I imagine helps TKA's alot here). I can tell you that I had no problems dropping a 26k Ham Padawan with 80% to all res(NPC). We actually dropped 3 of these in a row. With strafe2 I hit most shots at about 5k per hit. That is why it takes so few shots to actually clear a group when hitting normally for 5k per shot and hitting multiple targets. Only draw back to this is that you aggro everything, but you can usually drop them all before they even reach you if they are melee.

I even had a player who got mad at me for killing stuff before he could get to them(master tka) and thought he would be cool and aggroed about 20 tuskens and brought them over to me in an attempt to kill me. Needless to say at the end I was the only thing left standing(he died in the attempt lol). I would also suggest putting your armor on a macro as sometimes that helps to be able to pull the full set off to let your mind regen in between groups.

TIP: Dancer/Musician buffs are your friend . I wear a full set of high end composites eff sliced at about 85%+, it ends up with about 730mind encumb. But with dancer/musician buffs I can spam nonstop with my full set of armor on and not even see a drop in my mind. I've also owned 4 players in PvP while on a downer .

If you would like drop by and visit me on VALCYN and i'll show you what a Master Doc/ Master Rifleman can do .

FYI - I don't think there is any profession that can currently solo a krayt. A CH would stand the best chance except they can't actually do any damage lol.

I prefer a gun to slapping any day.

But just pikeman alone outperforms MBH, Master pistoleer/Master Carbineer, Commando and any other mix-match from those.

It really upsets me that melee is so overpowered. With pike I just target, /fol, attack, warcry, berserk. Then I just sit and watch. I took out 8 Kamus with my pike in no time. I wasn't even trying! With a gun I'm stuck running around like a retard taken in alot of damage while dealing hardly any.

Stupid jedi is nothing more then a smoocher, so I have to do something to support her career. So I'm considering what I hate the most, TKM. Rifle I would be more happy, but TKM would be just so much easier. And now I'm also thinking of going carbine again! lol

/sigh... decisions, decisions. I'd realy prefer rifle/tk, but then I'll be stuck running around looking for buffs every time I log on. So I don't really want to give up doctor.

Tearing apart other professions isn't nice. I tried carbine first and didnt like it but you don't here me saying how stupid it was. If you really feel that way about a profession why even consider it??? Personally I play for fun not for some uber template and TK is not the flavor of the month anymore, Heavy Swordsman is. They can deal huge amounts of damage. So of if you really want to ask for people's opinions maybe you shouldn't bash a profession you admit you don't want to play.

I'll just throw in my 2 cents. All you need is very limited experience in any ranged weapon. When you're doing missions etc, all the weapon has to do is fire with a mob targeted and if you're in range whether you hit it or not it will aggro you.

So, go having TKM and novice marksman would be you're baby.

Just pick up any old beginner-weapon and pull away.
