I like the idea of Heal Over Time - just hit them once and let the doctor go on to the next patient.
If I'm the only doc in a group and we take a break to rebuff and heal - that's a 4 to 5 minute space of time spent on each player - that's 40 minutes for a group of 8 - and the just about time to rebuff the first guy in the group
Hmm, I cant say that it has ever take 4-5 min to heal wounds. You do not get hardly any wounds from fighting any more.
I will ask for some kind of an improvement on wound healing. More power, shorter cool down time, or a heal over time.

I have only one problem with wound healing.... I should get experience from healing wounds. It takes me time and wastes a cooldown timer doing it so give me experience for it. Same with buffing. We should be getting experience for the use of our skills.

I am really liking this idea. Wound healing your entire group is going to take way too long with this new system and transforming our heals to "heal over time" is going to make a world of difference, not to mention a lot less boring for everyone in the group.

The 4-5 minutes I was talking about was for healing wounds and rebuffing - I've had people walk up to me pretty much anywhere I've been on Coronet asking for heals andif Irecall correctly, most have been more than 100+ in wounds- the most I've ever healed anyone for was 56 pts - usually I'm getting in the 30-40 range. I'll have to pay more attention to what the circumstances are and see why it's so low. I know that post-cu I've never healed for 100 pts on a wound heal.

One MAJOR Important thing!!!
Allthough Doctor Now are Combat Oriented, and only gain XP during combat.
Since Wound Healing, only occurs outside combat, please grant us XP for it. I really dont care how much, just give us something for removing wounds.
It is really not that important how much time it takes, if we just can expect some form of XP reward for doing it.

1. How long does it take to fully heal the average wounded player you have seen?
- My answer is about20 sec. Most folks have 110 wounds and it takes two shots to fully heal them. The most woundedI have seen is about 250 which took a bit over a minute.
- I agree but it dose take considerably longer when they are a much lower level than yourself.
2. Is this really a big deal to you?
- My answer would be NO. Yes it is rather low but frankly I only heal wounds when I got nothing else going on so spending a minute orat the most two minutes to heal someone is not a big deal. It seems that dieing is about the only way to get any real wounds so not that many folks have large numbers.
- Yes and no, if you are the type of player who stands and heals in a canteena or med center it makes a big difference, but if you only go out in groups it probably isn't a big deal.
3. If this is a big deal what would you suggest the power/timer become?
- My answer would be 150 power and 15 sec timer. I would pick 150 because then you could heal a clone in one shot. The 15 sec would just make it consistant with our other longer heals.
- I agree totally this would make a big difference.

Wound healing is far too slow. When I'm out and about, I get pleas for wound heals, and it sucks to stand there for 10 minutes mindlessly hitting a button.

yeah the timer is bad but I would definatly preffer a little bit juice to it, because I'm not sure if we have wound packs anymore or not.
