Thread: So now your a master doctor...what now?
I reached master doc a few weeks ago.
Since then the game has taken off for me, my PA treat me like a god. Being able to buff and revive someone earns you an instant friend !
My second profession is of pistoleer, so going out with my PA mates allows me to take on harder missions and gain the pistol/combat xp aswell as heal my mates.
I havea fellow doc who helps me run our PA hospital, he looks after vendor sales there and myself off world sales.
We work as a team for resourses and crafting and both have access to each others factories to allow maximum production when one of us is away.
I realy enjoy the combat and healing side of the game, make master doc and every hunting pack will want you.
I have had to do one thing from time to time now I am master doc, I am not proud of this, but i take my title of master doc off as I get tells all the time asking for teaching, healings, buffings, hunting, joining pas, helping out. Don't get me wrong, I do not mind helping out but when I am running a mission or waiting for a shuttle or in the middle of a facton quest - there is not much I can do.
It came to a head for me when I was waiting for a shuttle with 30secs before boarding, I was asked by someone to heal them, I replied that I couldnt as I was just about to get on a shuttle - the response was miss your shuttle and get the next one in 10mins as I want my wounds healing and you are a doctor so you HAVE to do it for XP ! - as I boarded the shuttle I popped a tell back asking if they really believed that a master need the xp still ?
Enjoy Master Doc when you get there ! SWG as a Doc can be whatever you want it to be !
Live you r "life", people who level for fun solely are called achievers. You do not strike me as one, not that there is anything wrong with that. If it floats your boat to power level to master more power to you, I would never tell someone else how to play their game.
But if you take the UO model into account it was "fairly" easy to max out your skills, granted Magic was a bear to Grand Master, as was Resistance but for the most part... it could be done. In the beginning very quickly even. UO is still kicking.
It has been through a number of changes not all good, but it still has a following.
Buy a house, decorate it. Upgrade your house. Join a PA, make friends, get married, get in a hunting group and do story arcs, go for badges, create your own PA, change your faction and do all the theme parks, make a name for yourself.
There are SOOO many options it boggles the mind, while you may not be GAINING EXP you will be having an experience and man that can be just plain recreational and outright rewarding.
Just my two credits. ![]()
