I might be missing something but...

>> 50 stims x 20 credits to list on bazaar = 1000 credits overhead

>> 1 crate x 20 stims = 20 credits overhead

If you're selling 1 crate of 20 stims on the bazaar, then you must be talking about Stim-A's? Or really weak Stim-B's? That's 150 per stim at maximum because of the 3000cr limit of items listed on the bazaar.

Either way,I raise my prices a bit on far away planets as well... BUT...only to help cover my cost of travel. Not to say, "Haha. Either buy from me, or pay 6k round trip to get some cheaper, sucker."That just doesn't like good business ethics to me. *shrug*

If you want to get a crate of 50, just refill the in box with more crafting materials, and it'll continue to fill the crate. Just make sure you dont take it out.

As for selling discounts for bulk, I definitely do. Getting a clean 45k for a crate of 50 stims is quick, easy, and convenient for both of us. I dont want to run a merchant to sell them one by one, and I want people to appreciate my work and stick with me as a dealer. You give osmeone a deal, they'r

I give a full 25% discount on crates and end up selling twice as much with half the effort. I started by putting a few in vendors and was swamped with requests for crates. I haven't had to deal with a vendor since then and am contemplating opening a second factory because I can't keep up with demand with just one. That is at 1000 individually or 750 each when in a crate.

manufacturing medical crates right now takes nearly as much time, slightly less attention, and more resources than manufacturing by hand. My factories still randomly stop if I let them attempt to pull from crates, and they still occasionally eat extra resources just for the fun of it. Add to that the overhead of power and maintenance, and it starts to get downright expensive.

With all that in mind, I don't see a single reason to offer a discount for the consumers convenience on a product that will sell anyway. Has anyone tried to sell medicine on the bazaar and not been succesful?
