Keep in mind that there will always be a 5% chance the poison will stick no matter how high the resist. So there may not be much of a benifit of using Janta unless you use it to up the eff and then use you points to up the duration.

Thats still a 5% chance each throw and sometimes not that many throws can be made do to the situation.

What really sad is that I've also seen ALOT of PvP'ers who just wont pay extra for the resists. Yeah the CM boards are cleared of the "you're too powerful, nerf them" people since the resists came out but they still refuse to use them. I've already pulled out and started re-using the old pre-nerf low potency poisons which I thought were only going to be good for PvE now. I'm still wiping out dozens with spider venom enhanced poisons with 118 potency because they're either too cheap or too arrogant to get them. And to think, I thought they were going to be a waste.

On the other hand, I've had dozens of encounters where DoT weapons or other CM DoT's just wouldn't stick. So far I've been lucky and only a single disease has ever broken through. Too bad there isn't one for fire.... Although walking around with bacta soaked underwear doesn't sound too fun.

Raeannna: I see the OQ and PE stats on your resources but what are the DR's for them? If its low then try putting a point or two of exp. into the duration. 250 will work almost as good as a 300 but will last much longer.

the meat and organics were all 980+ for OQ/PE, it's just I put all my points into power

Yup and if I had anything that ever broke through that it would be that 5% luck or the effectiveness would be so low that it would be an annoyance rather than life threatening. Good job on that pack

The issue is that the duration on the resist buffs is very low. As a result when PvPing unless you can hit yourself when they run out they are not worth much because they will run out before you even get to fight.

If your defending a base then just waiting around for something to happen will result in the buffs expireing. If your shuttle hopping then they run out before you find another overt. About the only time you can count on them being in use is when your attacking a base because you control the timeline.

My point was that with a high non-loot back you will reach about 90% effective while using loot will only get you to 95%. That extra 5% is not worth all that much. However, an extra 15-30 min can mean a lot more.
