Yes given exactly the same packs, at any one time u could hit higher than a master doc, but over time, his average is going to be higher than yours. This is approximate, since I don't recall exactly what strength packs I was using at the time, but when i added my +25 clothes, my max buffs went from about 2500 to 3250, and I also never started hitting under 1000.

It would be an interesting experiment to try with and without the clothes, with enough trials on the same person/packs to quantify the difference. Someone else can do it though.

Well yes. For buying cars.

But buff is not something people can wait or travel to get "good" ones.

If they know you are around or will be around soon then yhea they will go to you or wait till you get to them, but when they have group waiting to go hunt or shuttle will take off to their PvP hotzone, they will not likely wait.

If they yell for buff and they see some non-master doctor selling buffs, there is no incentive to turn it down right now and look for master doctor as long as they think it is enhanced D, they will just write off as bad luck when they get crummy buff since there is not guarantee that they will get better buff with Master Doc.

On that note how much you folks selling your enhanced D for? Rez is 100 cr per charge and Stim-B is whatever your server will support. Is there some guideline poped up for enhanced D? 100 cr per charge on enhanced D seem kinda lowish

as more and more people level doctor you can expect market principles to apply; supply and demand

you can expect to be polluted so deal with it

personally, i cant buff more than enhance b pack level, so i do it for free all the time....

just venting (grinded slicing only to find no real customers)

I think your (Doctors) biggest problem here is communication. I can not EVER remember hearing a doctor saying anything other than 'Buffs 1k each or all 6 for 5k'or something along those lines.

I suggest you start giving stats when you do your shouts. Even if people dont buy from you right then and there, those numbers will stick in their head and after a couple times, they will remember to ask.

I would include 3 things in your shouts...

  1. Price (Least Important)

  2. Duration and range of stat increase to expect

  3. MOST IMPORTANT - that you are a master doctor

Educate people as to why you are better... make sure you have your Master Doctor title up. It wont take long before people realize the benefits to be had, and wont take buffs from anyone BUT a Master Doc.

Smugglers learned this early on with slicing.... how ever I would be willing to say most people have never had buffs yet in the game.

I can definately agree with that.

I think it would be good to train people to ask for more responsible price like

"Buffs 1k each or all 6 for 5k"
"minus 500 for any buff under 1k"
"plus 500 for any buff over 2k"

or something like that. Once this practice become common, it would be harder to scam people into giving you hard earned credit for crummy buffs.

There's lots of pretenders out there buffing and charging full price to unwary customers. By pretenders I mean people who (1) have weak enhance D packs and (2) aren't Master Doctors. The huge variation in the amount you get buffed (for example with 800 D packs I hit from roughly 1100-3300) has encouraged scam artists and opportuniststo sell weak buffs at Master prices. We need the variation to be removed/reduced to let superior buffers to distinguish themselves more easily from the riffraff (and to give the riffraff incentive to improve or charge a fair price).

As it stands now the quality of service provided is not as transparent as it should be to the customer.

i charge 5k for all six buffs and for every single stat that falls below 1000, i give back 1k.

i feel this serves as some what of a warranty to the customer....

does anyone else have a money back guarantee?

I have no problem selling buffs. I am a Master doc and my Ebnhance D packs are usually around the 850-880 level. But they still do vary. Usually they hit around 1600-2000 but sometime from the same pack a crappy one hits for 900. The only time I give a refund if it is on a Health or Action bar. Sub stats really arent important. Scratch that... Quickness if its low I will give a refund too. I charge 5k for all 6 but with a supplier of meat who just quit the game I have upped my prices 6k for all 6 and then I do give redunds of 500cr per buff below my quality. I have people asking all the time for them to buff and I have enough repeat customers to keep my money flow good. So just remember that your buff packs could be 900+ and you can be master doc with all kinds of skill attachment clothing but it still does randomize and you will get that lowball number once in a while.

Also, I find it I get better buffs when I buff wookies and people who are mearing armor. Anyone else see this?

Hello. I have the "Master Doctor" title. I now know that I am a pretender, because I've never gotten my buff packs high enough for your prices. Thanks for putting me in my place. I will now surrender my Master Doctor title to become a l33t d00d Bounter Hunter. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's your own personal qualities that determine the ways in which you are inspired. Alternatively, you could be inspired to take more pride in your craftsmanship, to go that extra mile to find outstanding resources, to throw away packs with craft failures, obtain some medical clothing to improve your performance, etc. Don't be so negative, strive to be the best in everything you do!

I only make adv D buffs. And I dont know how the someone can claim they rarely get sub 1500 or sub 1000 buffs. It just seem way too random. buffing my group, bam someone gets 2.7k buff. The next person 741. Thats a 2k difference, absure. And i save my best adv resources for my buffs too.
