Vermicious_Knid and anyone else blaming the doc has clearly not read the thread.
He didn't buff an overt Rebel or Imperial, there were no visible to TEF's to normal people, it was some Jedi related TEF crap.
I was there, I know. I'm still picking light sabre fragments out of my rear-end from that *explictive* griefing *bodypart*.
Bug or no bug, the lesson is don't heal, buff, rez Jedi, it's not worth it getting killed over those kill stealing potentially uber-griefing folks. They dont' need us anyhow, the can heal themselves so why bother with them.

I've had similar things happen to me constantly since I became doc, recently I was triple incapped by a dot wielding pikeman, my crime?
Curing members of my group who themselves had incapped twiceby the aforementioned pikeman's dots, in order to stop my friends from being griefed.
Some people just have no shame I guess.

I had something similar happen. I got TEF'd in a med center and didn't notice it. Some Reb came flying in DB'd me and said red is dead, don't help the enemy.
Fine I was flagged, no biggy. Doing that in the med center when the doc is healing? The dude earned a Denial of Service for his entire guild...every action has it's reward lol

Like this Jedi Knight last night who was just completely showing off. There are usually quite a few overt rebs outside the cnet starport. This is why the Jedi chose to be imp. He kept forcerunning through the starport every few minutes cleaning out the rebs. None of these guys have a chance against a Jedi Knight. That is why he was griefing the whole knight. So what if it places him on the terminals? Will the BH be able to defeat him either? No. If the guy would have consented me, I would have rezed him. I don't care if the Jedi would have killed me. Big deal. I clone, meditate away all of my wounds, and rebuff myself if necessary. I've only lost like ten seconds of gameplay, right?
I told the Jedi that he needed to quit showing off because no one was impressed by his antics. He then proceeded to emote me to death. Three /slaps and four /spits later was like "omg you so emoted me". He gave me one more /slap and forceflee3'd off to way for more rebs.

only one thing to add to this thread.
I have just begun the buffing, not even master doc yet (before i find the motivation to craft...),
so havent yet seen this situation from doc's side, but as the one thats being buffed, yes.
Last weeks i used to pvp (retired mcm), and sometimes had to ask for buffs being overt. Every single time
that happened, i agreed with the doc that i would stand and guard as long as he had tef.
It was very rare that anyone would attack, but if did, i defended. So no problems to the doc
that way. Why oh why did the jedi run before your tef was gone? earned a /slap for that.

I agree with this "tactic" if you're going to cause the doc to become tef'd it's partly your responsibility to provide cover for him/her. After all, the doc's doing you a favor.
In reference to the "this would happen in real war" comment: NO. That would not happen because the Geneva convention acts against it. Believe me, I know. I'm a U.S. Marine.
