Thread: Raising doctor very fast with a exploit
MMmmmm i think the bug that thread starteris talking about is this:
get a pet under lvl15 (or higher if u are CH).
Enhance him (xp, 1k+ each buff if u rock)
Store him
Call him
Enhance him
Store him
Call him
Enghance him
.....and so on.
I think this is the worst method to get med xp....it's just too easy without this exploit.
I suggest devs to fix that: persistent buff in datapad!
I wondered about the buff/store pet scenario. After you get all your experience it become pretty annoying. Persistent pet buffs would be nice, but who knows how hard it is to implement.
I am a Master Doctor and got about half of my CM experience in one night healing the wounds of an AT-ST. He came into the medical center with about 75% of his health and action bars wounded. The guy offered me an obscene amount of money to heal him up and as a master doctor, I figured it couldn't take that long.
I was surprised. It was a huge amount of experience.
While you no longer get experience for Stim healing pets, you do get experience for Woundpack healing them. I am sure there is an exploit brewing in there somewhere.
Is there a way to inflict a large amount of controlled wounds on a pet? If so, there you have it.

Actually a SOE representative posted on this indicating that they considered this when they nerfed pet damage healing med exp and decided it wasn't a problem.
Yeah, wound healing only really gives massive XP as a result of the new commando "fixes".
Their fire DOT can wrack up literally thousands of wounds. That's some major XP.
I still say the best way is entertainer spam, though. Have them do a macro of flourishes with only a very small pause in between and then you do a macro to heal them as fast as possible. Fill up on stims, go watch TV, come back and have 30k XP.
I bet you could be a 4440 doctor in 2 days doing that, if you had the stims for it.
I got the majority of my doctor XP by following a swordsman around. It's like healing a spamming dancer, only slower.
Or get a master CM to disease 2 docs on health/action and let them feast on one another like vampires for the next 20 minutes.
I think this one tops all the others.
Med exp is **edit** easy to get. It's the crafting grind that determines when a Master healer is raised.
Jacore
Hmmm.. I did think that the enhances were dropping on pets back when I first tested this. (Didn't care to use it as an exploit, I just hated having to rebuff because somebody wanted to put away or change pets for 1 fight.)
Last night, however, I had buffed my own pet, but the health wore off and I had no others on me. Although my pet did still have an action buff going,I decided being on Dantooine that it's normal unbuffed health just wasn't enough to risk it, soI stored him. Thinking back on this particular issue, I went ahead and called him back out again immediately to check if the buff was gone.
The action buff stayed. Never saw a patch note on this, though, so I guess it's just one more thing they stealthed in. Other folks may want to retest this, though.
I think the cantina I frequent is thinking of holding a contest... how many samples can you get before you have no action left? Muhahah..
I decided to pm Holocron with the bug, hoping that devs fix this.
If oyu got the creds to stay stimed you just follow a bunch of brawlers around thats it. Or if you are really retarded you let someone target you and spam tuble to kneel for the next 3 hours, but all these different versions aren't exploits i think.
"Master Doc in 4 days? I'm calling BS"
You might call it, but you'd be wrong. This does require you to be 'set up' though, twinked with a good wad of cash and/or somebody providing a lot of resources and bought meds.
The thing is, now that you're master doc, what have you got? 140 skill points spent for a profession fundamentally tied to helping others, with zero offensive capability. Hardly something most people bust their butt to exploit.
Healing is something that benefits other people, there's not a whole lot of reason to 'grind' it. You can just play the game, have a lot of fun, and still get there in a reasonable period of time.
hahahahaha, you pmed holo? lmao. holo doesnt give a RATS ARSE about medics. we're his unwanted step children.
