Do you want to fire off a 900 heal or a 500 heal. Thats a great question.

If your the only medic/doctor/CM go for the 900 heal stims.

If you are grouped with other medic/doctor/cm most of the time you will never use the 900 heal stim C.

I really only use adv componets on the following:

E packs. Only reason to pull out an E anything is more for the WOW..then for really practical use.

Hey...wish I could tip you but I just bought full composite armour and only make 7k my last 5 bounty hunter missions. Besides I have no money on me and I still dont know how to use the /tip 1000 bank command!)

I use adv componets on Enhancements.....here they come in very useful.

I use them on Res packs so I can get 25ish per pack rather than 9 to 11.

I use them when we are going on a pvp raid or after a big mob (Dragons ETC).

For normal every day use....I use normal componets cause after all how good do you have to be? Very seldom in a group will you have to use a 900 heal stim C.Or Big deal if you have to hit someone one more time with a wound pack C. Its 12 more seconds.

The most useful place for adv componets is on Stim B and Wound Pack B's. They give the medics searching for exp a TON more of it...or they allow the new charater that took medic just to heal himself or their pet the ability to do this very well.

Besides the above mentioned time I think adv componets are just over kill.

Plus I'm not restricted to Fiberplast as my inorganic for my standard stim.

Using advanced components and some high quality resources on Corbantis, I've gotten the following:

40charge x 408heal Stim-B

44charge x 419heal Stim-C

Advanced components are well worth using, even if their stats aren't all that great. It also helps to have access to some incredible materials:

Forget specifics on my class-4 petro but it is 900+ on both PE and OQ.
