Tsk tsk is right. I never asked for money. I said "Hey you want those wounds healed?" I did'nt say I'll heal those wounds for xxx creds. Before we would be offered rediculous amounts of money for our services. I know pre cu it cost us money for meds, but not near what some players would offer for a cut in a buff line...up to 50k personally and I had seen higher. I healed and buffed for free alot pre cu and I still would for anyone who is polite.

I don't even use the doctor title anymore. Most of my conversations go like this:
other guy : Heal me
other guy : Heal me
other guy : Heal me
other guy : Heal me
other guy : Heal me
other guy : Heal me
other guy : Heal me
I heal their wounds and they run off.
Once you take off the title though being a doc is great

I am a new Doc and just tonight i was in a group trying to get TK and med xp and people who werent tanking wanted buffs and i couldnt heal the people that needed it since my mid was getting to low. What is the point also if we are #6 most wanted to be profession if we are walked on by people that need us then they do themselves.

I was a doctor bfore the CU and it was like the greatest proff i ever mastered back then... i mean people actually paid for buffs, qued up for you and said thankyou after you buffed.
As you say now people are rude and demand heals and rez's. its really annoying and on top of all that there is no money to be made out of it...
Im in favour of the CU BUT, the doc proffesion was alot better pre cu.
numbers of docs dropped dramatically - i got an idea for non doctors to help the doctor proffesion rise in numbers again ___ goes like this: 1.be polite
2.a little tip wouldnt hurt
so its simple - if ya want more docs - treat us like u did before the CU

Without a strong guild , doc is nothing more than an alt buff bot sitting in theed with amacro running. I love doc but thats the way Ive seen my beloved proffesion. Very disappointed on whats going on, but hey we are just docs RIGHT?

the worst kind are the ones that demand a rez while you're doing something (perfect example village phase 4, someone not in your group) you get a million tells and when you finally go out of your way, you dont even get a thanks.

In response to the fact that doctors should be in Medical centers more often:
If there was a bonus to healing people in Medical Centers, then you would see a lot more of us hanging around in there and curing wounds. But the truth, as someone said, is that doctors do not get too much respect nowadays...
Yesterday, a friend sends me a tell "come and rez me please, i'm 400 m from Nym's SP". So i go, i'm there within 5 minutes... Now ,his consent list is full, and he is unable to unconsent anyone. I try dragging him, asking him to unconsent me, and then consent me...nothing. He finally clones, not a single thank's, a tip, NOTHING!!!! I love this profession, and gladly heal people for free, but Master Doctor is a two row profession nowadays, not worth spending the points for 0440, at least respect us for the choice of taking a semi-functioning profession that rezzes you when all else failed

I have gotten several tips post-CU . . . usually from friends and average around 3k . . . biggest since the CU was 10k.
I get hundreds of request for heals on the weekends and usually 25-30 during the week. I usually average 3-4 hours of play daily. Most of the time, I get nothing. Heals are not just for Docs anymore, anyone can use a stim pack. Buffs are almost worthless compared to the old system. So, why would I want to hang out in cities when I have been so severely clubbed with the nerf bat? How many MBH would you see if they were no longer able to wear armor and use weapons ? Just a thought . . .

Yeah village phase 4, sith attack, people get killed then send u about 10 tells:
this is one example:
I was in the village yesterday , in a group of 8 and busy healing and rez'ing them...
this guy from another group sais: "i died..."
my answer: "sorry im real busy with my group"
reply: "your a doc, do ur job and rez me!"
my answer: "wait untill the end"
reply: "rez me, rez me , rez me , rez me , rez me , rez me..."
what an ass i just blocked him but i mean why the hell should he be so rude?!!?, maybe i would have done him after i finished with my own group , people are so stupid....

I get this all the f**king time at the village. And when I have taken time to rez one of these guys I dont even get a thanks. This is the reason why alot of the times I ignore these tellls half the time.
