Thread: A slight Revamp to the Buff system.

Sifer, my intention was not for you to stop coming up with ideas. Personally I think its good that someone has an idea for this issue. Critisizm, playful I thought, is a good way to come up with alternative solutions.


I don't have any ideas on this. It's probably because I think the horse has already left the barn. Buffs are too strong, but without them, you could not do the content that comes out like the Geo caves, the DW Bunker, etc. The mobs are just too strong and spawn too quickly to do them un buffed.


The bad part is that, and I am guilty of this, is buffing to do Janta misions quickly to make money. This is where the problems really occur. But the problem is that buffs need to be in the game to do the cool content.


I dont think there is an easy solution to it, but I praise you for trying! Keep at it.

Well the fact high end content is nearly impossible without buff's is another problem. But the fact that buff's are required to stay competetive in any combat aspect of the game is the problem I have with the current system. I just dont think a person should have to be touched by the hand of a Doctor just to enjoy high end content. Doctors an Entertainers should be the people you visit later on to relax after the hunt. Or the people you take along with you to treat you in camps.That's sort of what I was trying to accomplish with my idea above.

What a party.... I can't wait until my entire game consists of sitting in a medical center for my entire evening of game play...
