I figured the number is the order in which you got the schematic.

I started as a medic, so BEC was one of the first things I got. I think it was 003. This should help younarrow down where the schematic is in your list.

i always seem to get an error trying to figure out the /ui toolbarSlotxx command. Anyone want to tell me what i'm doing wrong to get a subcommand not found error? thanks!

Rancor_ & RebelHawk:

Open your datapad draft schematics section. Start counting the items that can be made in the tool you are using. If it's the food/chem crafting tool, count only the items that normally appear on one of it's lists. So to make a Biological Effect Controller, you have to count past a couple food items first. The draft schematic number can change based on whether or not you're standing next to crafting stations, as well. For instance, Stim C's can only be made while near a crafting station, so they won't even show up until you are near one. But any schematic that is behind them in your datapad will have a different number depending upon whether or not you are near a crafting device because it will insert the Stim C in it's normal position and bump up the number on the other schematics. You may need to fiddle with the number by 1-2 to get the one you want, but at least this method should get you close.

Scyso:

I'm having the same problem with those last two commands. Do you also have your keymap set on EQ Default? I noticed that I can't enter through the crafting boxes, either, because that keymap sets the enter key to open the chat line. I suspect that's what's messing with the crafting tools.

ok guys as far as it working only up until /nextCraftingStage, make sure you ARE NOT near a public crafting station OR a droid w/craft module in it.

if you are near either then by default you would be given the option of experimentation, this macro isnt set up to automatically deal w/experimentation so it will shut down.

i know alot of times when i wanna craft in the med center for exp w/the macro someone might be using there droid to make themselves stims or woundpacks and i have to wait till they store the droid before my macro will work.

hope that helps.

Just use this, make this macro x3 for 3 tools for BECs. After dumping the resources use Enter x3 to finish the process on pratice mode. I then mapped the 3 macro's listed above to my mouse. I could burn 6-7k exp on BECs with out moving my hands ...one on my mouse and one on my Enter key.

When I run this it gets me too were the ingredients need to go in then tells me "You are out of range from hopper" then ends the crafting session

This is a great macro.

I daisy-chained the macro with my 3crafting tools and it worked fine. I had to increase the /pause 5 to /pause 10 because I am slow and insert a /pause 2 between firing the different crafting tools.

One thing that I noticed was that manually crafting with one of the tools, setting it into practice mode first and then running the macro only produced 2 BECs in my inventory. By extension if I do that with the other tools I should be able to craft everything in practice mode. I'll try that later today.

One of the things that I noticed post macro execution was that my keyboard would not respond to anything that required a control key for at least several minutes. I could still type in the dialog box and use my function keys but opening my inventory, datapad, options, friends list, etc. was useless.

I cut and paste this macro and tried it and it worked a few times, but then it started aborting, saying "crafting session ended", and produced nothing. But it still ate up the resources.

Any ideas?

5 stars for this question? I really do not understand the rating system in here. Anyway you are probably close to a crafting station when running this macro. Move a bit and try it again. Make sure your crafting droid isn't out as well.

The Pactice no item portion is described nicely in the faq sticky. The entire thing can be automated to a point where you just double click on your resources every 5 seconds. I used 5 tools and did doc in a couple hours (only to drop it the next day ).

read the faq and make sure you spell everything exactly as it should. Make sure your upper and lower case letters are exact. To get the shematic number....basically play around guessing for 5 minutes. If you've got more then one crafting capable prof, you've got a lot of schematics in a wierd order. open a tool and typ /sel 56 to see what you get. Go up or down from there....

another thing to check when you run the macro is to check it after you log in. Sometimes the bottom of the larger macros get truncated. I normally have to re-type the last three lines of my crafting macro before use.

and /sel will do for a command instead of /selectdraftschematic
