ok lets think...

a doc/fencer for example needs:
- PvE armor (9 slots)
- PvP armor (4 Slots)
- Cloth (~5 Slots)
- Buffpacks + Crates (12 slots)
- Woundpacks + Crates (12 slots)
- Statepacks + Crates (8Slots)
- Cure/Enhance Poison/Disease + Crates (8Slots)
- Rezzkit + Crate (2Slots)
- Droid Battery + Crate (2 Slots)
- Stimpacks + Crates (4 Slots)
- Fencer Weapons (12 Slots)
- Repair tools + Crates (4 Slots)
- Food...i carried every food i needed for buffing and PvP (24 Slots)

Now lets assume you carry crafting stuff with you:

- Tools (2 Slots)
- Few Components (8 Slots)
- Resources (~12 Slots)

You look at 116 items here...these ARE impossibly to carry with...and don't tell me you never harvest, buy or loot stuff...you all see the point here?

What makes you think what you carry is so much more then other professions that you need a new toy no one else can have? You list 116 items that HAVE to have on you at all times..... Stick 50 of those items in droids and 60 in a pack. That leaves 6 items on your body. You left out the 2 slots for your fireblankets. I guess needing 118 items and actually carrying themis possible...and leave room to loot and harvest.

Most crates can be stored in your droids as can all your crafting tools and resources. Your armor should be in droids as should your weapons (well say 9 of those 12 you need on you anyway). You can pull weapons from a droid by having it on a tool bar, it just takes a couple clicks. Having a crate of rezes in a droid and a 10 use kit out should suffice unless you know you are going to a big battle. Same goes for the fire blanket and all the wound heal packs. The singles can be in your inventory but the crates don't need to be.

If Docs get a profession specific bag that can carry 50 items then it had better be in their hands at all times. No room for a weapon.

Honestly, get over yourselves. You have the most needed skills in the game and all kinds of toys already. Your services are needed more then any other proffession and you get a reward for it. When was the last time you heard ' there are too many docs in this group'? You can make money easier then the other partial crafting typeprofs and can participate in battles better then any of the crafting type professions. In fact you are more needed in combat then a combat medic...and for less SP.

There are so many more things that need to be done in this game that introducing another gift to the only class that doesn't need any gifts is outrageous. Try to tell any other profession that you have it tough and see how much sympathy you get.

You are in the only working profession in the game (well the closest prof to working anyway) and you need a new toy? right.

I see a couple more 1 stars in my future but if if this type of thing is to be introduced, it better go to every profession (at least elite profs or better yet elite masters).

Docs need more love.... sheesh

I dont agree with this implementation, but i agree space can be scarce when beeing a doc.

While I agree that you can manage your storage easier with droids, it also makes it more of a pain to get meds out of crates on the fly, like running out of your stimms in the DWB and only having a crate of them stored in your droid while aggroed and about to die.

but what I do disagree on is the argument that docs are no different than any other profession in the game as far as what we have to carry on our person to play our profession to its fullest.Docs arent just crafters like a DE, like was mentioned before. We use Doctorskills in combat. I dont see DEs having tocraft droids to take out that Rancor.DE is a crafter just like AS WS and Tailor. they dont use any of the skills in thier trees for combat. so Leave your crafting stuff at home orput it in a droidif you are gonna go out killing things. you ARENT gonna need any of it on the fly and will have ample time to call droids and take stuff out of crates when you need them.

Throw in some kind of combat template with Doctor and you have your standard items just like everyone else.ie armor, a fewdifferent weapons. If youre a PvPfan, then addmore space taken up for maybe different armor and different DOT weapons etc.If you have scout skills throw in a space for hunting resources.. throw in a few spaces for loot.. I mean who the hell is gonna fly back to Lok when they are out in the middle of Dant looting NS and runs out of inv space just to make room to go on?

now throw in all the different meds we have to carry on our persons, from buffs to wound packs, fire blankets, disease/poison cures, stimms, etc etc.. we do have to carry a hell of a lot more stuff than your average professoin IMO just to be able to play our profession in combat. If im at a starport wanting to be nothing but a buff drone,, then yeah droids are fine to carry everything and anything Im gonna be using. But I like to go out and have fun, so I have to carry all the different medicines I will have to use and have them readily available to use when I need them.

like I said in the begining, I thinkDroid storage is an easierway to manage your inventory better, but I find it far fetched to hear crys of "Docs have it just the same as any other profession"when it comes to what we have to carry out with us, not applying to your buff bot sitting in a starport.
