You got 10k meat in 4 hrs. Thats 2.5k per hour. If you were to get paid 100 cpu then that would be 250k per hour. Most good fighters can make more than that per hour doing Janta mission on Dant and they have the chance of getting some Blood or other loot not to mention havingmore fun.
It is not about the cr/unit of meatit is about the cr/hr of game time. This number has to be higher then competeing alternatives such as hunting for strate cash.
And what will these people be hunting when they cant find anyone to buff them? I doubt they'll be doing Janta missions without adequate buffs, so there goes their so called lucrative income.
Myself? I gather my own meat. I'll be damned before I pay anyone more than 10cpu for anything. But, since I have to spend my time hunting instead of buffing, it's not me that loses out. Someone is going to have to wait an extra half an hour to get their buffs.
That's true, but the system is working fine as we stand right now. The docs that craft buff packs still make money buying avian at 200+ cpu. The buff bots make money buying the packs from the crafting docs and buffing the public. The hunters make money off of the buffs killing things. It takes awhile to establish yourself to the point you can drop million on avian meat, but once you can, it is well worth it to pay 200 cpu or higher to get the amount of meat you want.
I was just doing some calculations for what the maximum CPU a doctor can buy (assuming every other component costs nothing) for avian meat and still come out even:
Cost of a full set of buffs: 10,000
Cost of one charge from a buff pack (non-action): (10,000/5)=2,000
Number of charges per buff pack (averaging): 25
Cost of one buff pack: (2,000*25)=50,000
Units of avian needed for a buff pack (average): 23.2
Max amount of money per CPU of avian to come out even: (50,000/23.2)=2155
2155 CPU is unbelievable. Sorry had an urge to do math.
