My reasoning is simple. You want to raise the cap for FS quests or as you put it "Running back to Paedo everytime I hit 80k medical experience is a bit tedious" .

Now for me the solution is simple, set up shop in the village. Alot of people there requiring Doctor services, revive, cures, buffs, etc...

You would only have t walk a couple steps to cash in your xp, something I might add that is gained extremely easily. The cap is fine, or we end up with fotm Doctors because they want teh easy route to jedi.

Think of it this way.

Someone ask you to fill a swimming pool from a stream.

The Size of swimming pool is irrelevant. The fact that it may or may not get bigger or smaller in the future is also irrelevant.

What is important is that someone gave you a swimming pool to fill and a small cup to do it with.

Now if someone ask a question "Can we get a bigger cup? or even a bucket?"

Why is this such creazy request?

It isn't like people are asking to fill the dang swimming pool half way.

All they want is bigger freaking cup!

Let em have the bucket!

Good analogy. In comparison, the elite combat classes have barrels of water that they use to fill up the pool. heh

I would rather see at least a few more doctors healing wounds in med centers (at least some of the time), rather than always in the Village. There is demand for healing services throughout the galaxies, and this will bring docs their needed exp. And also, players will always want buffers without having to go to Dathomir. At times, I would settle for a 2000 buff just so that I won't die from using specials.

we JUST had this argument. The result was this. Play the game, go up in whatever xp you want to convert. If your a jedi grinder anyways and a master dr. all you have to do is buy a non ch pet, pull it out, buff the hell out of it, put it away and repeat until you cap. YOU NEVER EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE THE VILLAGE TILL U GET UR TREE DONE.

nothing tedius about it, if ur a quick grinder ur gonna go the quickest way anyways. No one cares, if all you are is a master dr and your going for jedi, u gotta be kidding me. you MUST have some other prof to be capping in.

get over it, we already have one of the better conversion rates,

u know what would happen if they raised the cap?

THEY WOULD LOWER THE CONVERSION RATE AND SCREW YOU OVER ANYWAYS.

stop whining. get over it.

We have the same conversion rate as a Dancer. How much XP can a dancer hold for the same conversion rate.

lol... dude, EVEN THOUGH you are gonna say 'dancers can get xp afk' their xp is gained so SLOWLY its not EVEN FUNNY, you can get 80k xp in under 30 minutes.... that would take them HOURS AND HOURS of dancing non stop, which might i remind, requires them to buy a buff from us *Grins*

im an apple, they are oranges, no comparisan

The cap on XP seems to be more like a annoyance than a balancing issue.

The analogy oversimpifies the situation. But let's stretch it a little.

The barrel takes longer to fill, not only because it is bigger, but because for some reason, the rate of water into the barrel is slower than the rate of water into the cup (the barrel can only be filled from a tiny spiget, the cup can be filled with a garden hose). So at the end of three hours, we probably have filled more of the pool repeatedly dumping the cup than we would have while waiting to tip that barrel.

It may be annoying to repeatedly tip the cup into the pool, but how annoying is it to sit and wait for the darn barrel to fill just so you can tip it over? Yes it would be better if we were all just given the garden hose to just directly fill the pool up, but then, the path to jedi wasn't supposed to be super easy.
