heh, nobody really cares much about how high the buffs are, except the PvPers, DwB, and Vette people, and the occasional villiage idiot. Basically anything 2100 and over sells great. Mine being 2300-2500 are usually the best or second best Public buffs (the really good stuff is reserved for guilds etc) Im just trying to improve what a Doctors time is worth.

No one cares about how high the buffs are except PvP'er or village idiots? Wow. I'm glad I'm not one of your customers! (not to mention I'm glad I'm not on your server with buff prices that outrageous for that craappy of quality). Talk about unjustified arrogance...

But aside from yourinsulting your customers by calling them village idiots if they happen to care about buff power, I have to ask: Are you serious? Of course people care. They want the best deal for their money, and naturally they want the highest power buffs they can get for the price. Especially if they're going to be fighting high level MOBs like NS Elders. Those few hundred extra points can be a buffer between being able to go a little longer between heals, thus saving some funds on stimpacks, or having a few hundred extra than the guy you're PvP'ing against. It's pretty much human nature to want the best you can get for what you're spending. No different when it comes to buffs.

Of course anything over 2100 will sell great, especially if a server is unlucky enough to have had bad resources for a while. People will buy *any* buffs that are available, because any buff even a crappy buff, is better than no buff.

And (artificially) trying to improve what a doctor's time is worth? Isn't that up to the customers to decide by and large? It's called Supply and Demand in a free market. If you don't feel you're getting paid enough to do what you do, then perhaps it's time to change professions. No one is forcing you to buff people. But I wouldn't recommend you treat your customers like village idiots. A person's reputation has a way of catching up to them and biting them in the asss eventually. Oh, and it also sounds like you might need to relax some on that overdeveloped greed thing. It's just a game... But it is doctors like you that give the rest of us a bad name.

EDIT: By the way, on our server, the average buffs are 10k for 2600+, 3.5 hour enhancements. Average buff packs are 930+ power.

In the end it really doesn't matter what you set your price to. If you're out to make money, buffing the public is not the way to do it, cause while you're sitting there making 10k every few minutes, and putting up with goodness knows what, combat classes are grinding janta missions and making millions (literaly). So charge what you want, if people will pay good for you, if they won't, knock your price down a notch and try again. I still buff the public myself for 10k, not because I want to make money, but because I want to help people get out there and fight.
