How did a master defender not tank a Ancient? I am TKM/Master Swords/Doc 4/0/0/0 and tank a krayt with only me and a One tree jedi popping me with a infusion and 1500 heals. Maybe its not people "cant" tank, maybe its people don't know how to tank? I dunno.

I doubt that you were taking on an ancient. They are significantly more difficult than any of the other krayt variants. At any rate, the original poster definitely has a valid point. If Jedi with their allegedly over-powered heals can't hold up a tank against a krayt, then the rest of us have no chance. There are certainly rare exceptions; there are supposed to be.

Perhaps grouping is the answer. The SWG community has made the adjustment back to group play. Maybe the next step is consider having more than one of a class in a given group. If one doctor can't get the job done, try two. Even Sith are supposed to come in pairs.

Krayt Dragons are sort of a special case though. I get the feeling the devs want them to be as hard to kill as possible and I respect that. But a similar post could just have easily appeared about the SBD's on the corvette. They seem to one-hit DB even the above average player. I'm certain our TKM/Master Swords/Doc 4/0/0/0 or whatever he doesn't know how to tank that. He should at least consider the challenge issued.

one jedi (master ls/defender) and a doc/carbiner.It just takes2-3 minutes to kill a ancient krayt.

I don't see hows thats possible unless you're at least 3000 Healer...even then you'd need a Holocron.

One rifleman, if they can get within 15m under cover (and thats a huge IF!) then they can tank the krayt of any size using conceal shot. Once you within 15m, it 'finds' you, but cannot break cover. it will simply stand over you and spin around. You keep the agro as long as you keep up conceal shot. Make sure no-one else out-damages you and that bad boy is going down.

Am I talking out my ear? No. I have done it myself. If they did not regen so damn fast I could solo them too, but conceal shot does not out damage their regen. (Well not with my rifle anyway, and damn that wind up!)

Using above method, I have solo'd juvies, giants and canyons. I managed to play tag with an ancient for a long time, but was never going to be able to kill it. Must have been under cover shooting it for 10 mins at least (well it felt that long!)
