Hmm.. This is something I had not noticed. Have you done testing on this?

Tons. Maybe it is just me but I always always experiment on my stimps, and about 2-3 weeks ago there was weird bug where failure rate on experiment skyrocketed. So I was going out of my mind, and thinking if I do 1 points at a time I have better chance, (as opposed to doing as much as you can before hitting that 8% mark) for several days I did it 1 points at a time, and I noticed you get pretty lame result for first 2,3 points, then it really kicks in, then that last 1,2 box is not worth it.

The last box depends on the quality of your resources and how close you are to their "max" before you finish experimenting. I've seen this on the beginning only the end. first 9 points are all "great" successes at 7% each, then the last one will depend how close I am to max. Right now it usually works out like this. Base 28% + 9 greats experiment points (+63%) gets me to 91% effectiveness. I can use my last point there, but since my resource max is only 94% I only get 3% no matter what. (Unless I fail) so I'll usually throw that in charges.

But as for the original thread. I find that most of my customer's prefer high heals, and I always experiment BECs to their highest charges, and everything else on effectiveness. And if you have an inorganic with a high Unit Toughness, you’ll get a few extra charges out anyway.

good business, keep a demand for your product. It is all a matter of preferrence... Being MD i make all my own meds usually go for like 350 and then as many charges as possible... i've found that with 350 i can pretty much heal whatever (other then pets) that comes across me :-D
