Ive experimented this on my own char, and it seems that even when buffed, the armour doesnt recognise the buffed stats. I am able to work around this by putting on as much armour as I can before the not healthy message, then I eat something, anything which alters secondary stats helps. Then the armour accepts that the stats are buffed and I am able to equip the last part or two.

Problem is that when ever I remove the armour (inorder to better regain mind) the problem is back and I have to eat something inorder for the last few pieaces to go back on.

However I have met others who were able to equip all with no problem the momen I buffed them, but the above is how it works each and everytime for my own char.

OK I put a quick and dirty web page together with all the screenshots and information I could think of for this.

Read through it and it's shows what my issue is....

NOTE: After doing this, I went to the bazzar and picked up a 3 food/drink items. A meat lump, Something Pixie, and Tatooine Sunburn. After consuming all three of those, I was able to wear my armor. At this point I was a little fed up and I just went on my way, but it seems a little silly that Medical stat enhancements wont allow me to wear more armor, but eating a little food and drink does.

Great data. What would be a good test is doing the same you did there, and then consume some Spiced Tea. Perhaps, as suggested earlier, any stat modification will recognize the enhancements.

Using enhancepacks on your secondary stats does nothing to enable you to wear armor. Being zabrak my max on health and action regen stats are caped at 400, all armor i wear at once has to be 400 or less on health and action hams to wear, i can wear a full suit of composite that we have on our server(some pieces sliced for encumb.) and still cannot wear a full suit due to the 400 cap on secondary regen rates. my mind is at 1000/500/900, i have no problem there, its my regen rates on health/action.

I can only wear the chest , legs and boots. I buffed everything and I have my mind and focus/will maxed in stat migrate. I have at least 500 extra points in every stat after the buff and still cant get anymore on. I tried eating a bofa treat and a foraged food and it didnt help. I guess I might have to migrate some back into my sub stats. I was stoked about being able to buff and wear my armor too

Ok I can tell you that in my case it is NOT mind that is limitiing my armor usage.

Here is what I did discover. I buffed myself, tried armor, "Your are not healthy enough" blah blah.

Well I took a trip to get trained, while waiting for the shuttle after training, gotta love that 9 minute wait, I though.. hmm let me try my helmet again..Low and behold it went on. Full set of Chitin armor now. I was amazed, this hasn't work before.

So here's my theory, anything that appears to "re-base" your stats, I can't think of a better phrase, will allow you to wear your armor, i.e., traveling, eating food, crossing server boundaries... I haven't tested this extensivly but seems to follow with what others are saying about food, etc.

There is a bug where stats get stuck even after removing the armor. Even if you can do it once, you may not be able to next time.

Eating foor always gets them to come back for me.

Just as an FYI - food works. One of the (few) useful qualities of food is the ability to overcome encumbrance. I have many customers who tell me how short their stats fail for putting on armor, I figure out what food hits those stats, they eat, and they dress. It works every time, as long as I can get the stats high enough with food/drink you can eat before filling up (no any food/drink does not work). They then buy enough food so they can take off their armor and put it back on again atsomelater time.Food is also a better long term armor solution for non-docs as you don't need a doc to apply.

I have actually never tried using doc buffs to getarmor on, so I don't know what bugs there are with that.

Oh, and when the food wears off, you can still wear your armor. Though your stats will be very low, and if those stats matter to you a stat migration or better armor is probably called for.

What exactky do doctor buffs do ? If food buffs can help you put on armor why cant the doctor ones? I had 1000+ in the top 6 stats and 1100 mind and 600 focus and 575 willpower. What type of food can boost all 4 second sub stats? I know tatooine sunburn boosts two of them a lot

OK, there are some weird things happening with stats and Doctor Buffs. As I said, I was able to put the pieces on one by one, buffing as I went along. Not sure what, if any, significance this has. I noticed something strange yesterday, however, after my buffs fell.

Now, I've been running missions at the Rebel Outpost, so I haven't taken my armor off since I first put it on. Whenever I log in, my sub-stats are either very low (focus), or in the negatives (the rest, because they are set at minimums). The funny thing is that even in the negatives, I still regenerate action and health.

Here's the strange part: after logging in, I hit myself with a few buffs, and get my substats well above normal. Then, I take off for missions. Yesterday, I noticed my sub-stat buffs fall, so I pulled out my droid and began to buff myself. I hit Ctrl+C, and expected to see my sub-stat buffs in the negatives, as they should be ... but they weren't.

My buffable sub-stats are all set at their 300 minimums. With a full set, they are somewhere in the -200 ish range. However, after the buffs wore off, my sub-stats only fell to around the +250 ish range. Then, when I went to buff them, they returned to the negatives and worked their way up.

I have no idea what this means, except that those stats you see on your character screen probably aren't always accurate. If I had more time to play, I'd do some math and snap a few screens ... but I don't. It would be nice if we could isolate this stat weirdness, because I think it may be related to some people not being able to wear full armor.
