Have anyone wondered why the Wounds % value on weapons isnt translated into wounds on the person you attack?

What is the purpose of "Wounds %" and why do almost nothing but cloning give you wounds anymore?

I think this falls under the same issue as creature poison/disease. The devs seem to have turned it off for now to let other thing settle down and then will turn this nob back up. They chose to error on the side of "too few" wounds rather than too many. Likewise for state effects.

I suspect they will tweak each of these up as time goes on.

I hope so...

Wounds could have played a nice role in combat. They could even make it a "slow healing" version of regular damage, but right now it feels like wounds just have no strategical purpose more than "creating a need" to see a doctor.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I think it is just the percentage chance that the weapon will wound not the amount of wound damage it does.

Regardless, it's too low. I come out of 20 - 30 minute fights with barely any "lasting" marks. They need to make wounds more prevalent.
