Just paint an X on the floor and instruct people to stand on it for buffs.

I think the ability to override buffs will only affect buffs of a lower class

A --> B -->C --> D

so a's will be the worst , D's will override everything , but D's can't override D's

That's my understanding at least.

I myself have been working on an auto buff bot too. Back when I played Asheron's call it was awesome I have been testing mine for the past couple of weeks. The solution to the buffing yourself problem is this:

I dont know what the lowest power consuming droid is but i use a 21-b surgical droid, IT MUST BE A DROID other wise you will buff your creature, and what mine does is the following: (I am at work so I dont have the exact script so i will write it in a horrible psuedo code)

tells anyone want a buff come and ask me to join a group you have 30 seconds

after 30 seconds it /join

tell pet to join group (even if you are in a group the pet gets put to the end if not the pet is the primary person in group)

after that selects the first person in group other then you, SO if someone invited you into group they will get buffed, otherwise you will target your droid and attempt to buff your droid but you cant.

then it goes through all the buffs

disbands from group

loops back to beginning of macro.

There are only a few problems with this 1) if you run out of enhances nothing happens 2) if your droid runs out of power it wont group with you and you will end up buffing yourself wasting a set of buffs on yourself and depending on the duration you wont be able to buff yourself again for awhile but i figure i will either a. be logging in or b. get kicked off the server for some reason

Good idea... I might have to pick up a mouse droid and see how long before his power wears out.

i would see if you could get a droid with 110 medical schematic in it so you get that extra boost to buffing or sit in a hospital and do it but you cant charge entry fee to get in to hospital......

I know the power times on my surgical and R2 droid are only about 1 hour and 1.5 hours respectively. I'm hoping these are longer... Anyone know if a power droid needs power?

why not just group with the droid before you go afk. then change the command in your macro to

/ui action targetGroup1; (might be /ui action targetGroup01)

Good idea, but it's not porrible for me to select and invite someone to my group with my droid. I need to rely on the customer inviting me in order to get the macro to work

well if you can target them with the curser command, is there a command to invite to group?

The select ar cursor is still an issue, as should the person being buffed move around at all, the 'target area' will be reset. I tried working on this last night to no avail
