Thread: Doctor Poll Would you trade heal strength for speed?
- Bacta Shot Increased power at current or slightly longer recasting speed.
- Bacta Jab about the same power but very fast recasting speed.
- A final heal with a wind-up timer healing alot of damage.

Ehm..... Since when did a 4000 force healer become a "better" healer according to the profesion role chart SOE put up? I know, Jedi aren't on it but if you place the different disciplines on it from Jedi, where would a 4000 healer end, and where would a master force healer end up. In my oppinion, the only prof that should have a chance to out rank a MD in healing would be a master force healer, never a 4000 force healer.
And for the other stuff:
buffs?? they are not that effective as they once where. Food do an equal, if not even better, job.
Defence mods?? MD get +50 melee and ranged in total. It's not that much compared to other profs.
Rezz?? Get the cyber arm if you are desperate to heal others.
Armor?? Ok, maybe we have an advantage there but you have a much higher heal power with a much lower SP cost which means you can spend more SP on defense and/or offense.
Not to try to start a flame here, but you have to consider what we invest into getting this heal compared to what you get to your investment.

The questions for this poll are:
(1) Would you prefer Doctor's Bacta Shot:
(a)to be of increased power with longer recharge time (same heals/time), or
(b) keep as currently working.

(2)Would you prefer for Master Doctor to have:
(a) 1600ish heal with 2x current ramp and recharge rate, or
(b) 2400ish heal with 3x current ramp and recharge rate.

Ok quick note on why, Bacta Jab can't keep up with damage delt by the meaner mobs. Even even with shot you know a tank is going down when they agro anything tough (and that assumes you don't get hate LOL a whole other problem); it's the slippery slope..

None of the above (only interested in higher strength if same duration) = 3

Of those voting stronger with longer recharge, a 1600ish heal is the overwhelming favorite ATM.

Onone hand, I really likethe idea of a much larger heal. I wouldn't have to focus onjuggling heals.
However, hitting 1k with a droid is perfect. It'll even keep the DE busy making money. I guess the problem is droids need to be tougher ![]()

I dunno. It doesnt seem right to me that a Master Doc or CM needs to have a droid following him/her around in order to perform a decent heal.
Oh, and as a side comment: I'm sure all doctors would all like to see both an increase in speed and heals. But the devs might feel more heals per time is overpowered (hard to believe but true). I put these options together with heals per time constant,to present an alternative approach to thedevsIF there is a consensus in the community.
