So you made it to master doc and, in that timeframe, I'm certain you did absolutely nothing "doctorly" on your way there. So what do we have now? We have another master doctor that knows absolutely nothing about being a doctor. Hooray. *sigh*

Of course he won't remain a doctor. In the meantime, he has contributed to this rather idiotic inflation in the resources market. I mean, we've got average Lokian Wild Wheat selling for 5 cpu. This is at a time when the harvesters are twice as efficient as they used to be (BER 4 personals and BER 10 mediums). Why? Because of SOE's silly path to jedi. I don't think we have been hurt as badly as the entertainers by holo madness, but these 11 hour docs do have an effect on us, however minor.

Making Master in any professions in this game is just not a great achievement. This game is just too easy to master any profession and there's little sense of accomplishment.

And the worst part is, getting to Master is the worst part because you have ZERO to look forward to in most profession. At least with Doctor, I can do some crafting and have better buff.

you can train all the boxes on the chart, but that won't necessarily make you a 'master doctor' aside from sporting a title.

there's a lot of little nuances to figure out and master before you're really effective...learning not just how to make everything, but the best ways to set up hotkeys, strategies for being an effective healer w/o combat medic in large parties, which order to apply buffs in, at what times, etc--how to aquire and maintain a big enough stock of resources to not only keep you going, but keep your products performing at the level you want, dealing with 'heal lag' in combat, maximizing your strengths in PvP, etc.

on the surface, it seems like a profession that does all the work for you, and to an extent, it will. BUT...there is a difference between Joe Doctor and someone who invests thought into it...

No, No, No. I think we are all being extremly mean on this guy.

Apparently this is very important to him. This wasn't something that just happened to him, he planned ahead. He made elaborate timeline charts, went and bought the needed resource for grinding. Bought/made the needed crafting tools, stims packs B's, he watched the cantinas for the optimal day/time when dancers are at their lowest action.

And when he was all ready, he woke early, had hearty breakfast, took purifying shower and knew that his lord was with him, and he sat in front of his computer with stop watch and a hope.

He worked worked and worked till his eyes were watering and his fingers were crimping but did he stop? NO! he worked and worked like the little engine that could.

He had to go to bathroom but did he stop? NO! he planned ahead and bought crates of Depends adult diapers!

And after 11 grueling hours, with his fingers trembling with fatigue and yes great deal of excitement of letting those who care about him (that would be us) know about his accomplishements we mock him and make fun of him?!?

Shame on all of us!

Let us prey he don't work in post office.

And if you are reading this Mr Lancer-X, Bravo Mr Lancer-X, BRAVO!!! You had me at hello.

I vote for giving IlyaMasool Post of the Month honors..... this killed me.

Probably a tumble or warcry macro through Master Medic and to 0240 Doc. Then buff, store pet, buff ... repeat. Then macro grind ABECs.

Well I for one, have been going at doctor for over two weeks now....Sure I'm grinding my way to master, but as i'm doing that I'm also learning how to use what I've been given the ability to use....It's all about learning stuff as you go along, and that was my whole goal in ever playing this game.

I love doctor, it's an awesome profession and I like helping others, even if it costs me a tef and I get killed. It's about sustaining the way of life...to exist at whatever costs.

Cheers.

P.S. to those who feel they need to grind away at doctor in 11 hours to become master...I say this......

Get out of your bedroom/office and away from the computer, go out, and do something a little more worth spending 15 bucks a month on rather than grinding away and becoming doctor and posting "I got md in 11 hours after starting it" lol..who's the fool, the one paying 15 bucks to master a profession in 11 hours or the one boasting about it?..../emote shakes his head at the poor saps

P.S.S.

I'm also going the md/mcm and pistols 4 route...It is a killer combo. Next thing to learn is to use EVERY pistol ability I have to my advantage for not having the greatest of defense against tka and the likes.

I got my Master Doctor in 12 hours.

However, I am not a jedi hunter I just want to become a TKM/MD as fast as possible, due to college and stuff I don't have the time to heal people for two weeks. This doesn't make me a bad doctor, I know a lot of the class I'm playing and I'm sure I'll beenjoying it for a long time.
