I honestly can't believe ppl still buff the public with all this hassle.

OK, so I withdraw all my money from bank to cash. Buffing in Coronet with a line as long as your arm, frickin spammers jamming the screen with all kinds of rubbish and 5 bank tips come in at once. However your bank balance has only gone up by 30k, what do you do now?

So you have no trouble keeping track of the tips when4 people are sending you tells asking your price, buff amount, etc,and 3 others send you a bank tip at the same time but you only recieved the cash from 2 of them?

It IS a big deal, so I don't know why people try to make it seem like it isn't.
ESPECIALLY because its presumably such an easy fix.
I still can't fanthom why they changed it in the first place.

And wouldn't you have to stand next to the bank term to withdraw your cash after every single person tips? Or is there some command I don't know about..

on the odd accasion i buff people i dont know this is what i now do, when i get a tell for buff my macroresponce is
before i tell you the price please READ the following - i DO NOT accept bank tips and do notrecognise it as payment and its none refundable, if you do tip me in this way then you will not be buffed or given back any money, i consider it a none refundable gift 
now as for my buffs etc etc etc...
now as for my buffs etc etc etc...if i just get asked then i ask them to send me a tell and follow all the instructions.
some peole say well if i cant bank tip u then stuff your buffs i'll find another doc, but 95% of the time people are fine about it

I have a nagging feeling that SkyWalk423 is:
a) not a doc
b) possiblyoneof the scammers that we docs hate.
These are the exact excuses scammers love to abuse.It doesn'tmatter whether you can keep track of it or not. Even if you have your inventory open and are watching your bank account, when you receive 5 bank tips at once and only get the money from 4 of them, there is NO WAY to tell where the money came from.

I watch my bank credits a little.... never noticed it, although I know I have probably been scammed.... Im not really that worried bout it

I suggest a couple ways to solve this problem.
1) Get a house and put an access fee on it for the amount you want to charge for your buffs. Then advertise for people to come to your house for buffs. Several people are doing buff bots this way but there isn't any reason you couldn't just use your house as a place to buff people. The key is to make it convenient for them so if you can put your house near a main city or right next to the shuttleport in your city would be best.
2)Stop buffing. If every doc stops buffing andpeople can't get buffs any more they will start screaming very loudly to the devs. Then just maybe the devs will do something about this problem.

What about when you are doing your buffs, state in your ad macro that the person should not tip you until the buffing starts or when you are ready for a tip or banktip? I have done many buffs with both of my characters on valcyn and i always state that i do not accept money until it is their turn. I have never gotten scammed by this. The worst thing that has happened is that I used to say, tip me when the buffing starts, I got one buff on him, he sent me a fake, i moved right along to the next person in line. He wasn't too happy with me, course I wasn't too happy with him.

I don't do public buffs, but I am searchable and I wear my Master Surgeon title (which I've only convinced a few people to believe it's a Fencer title), so I get requests for buffs. Assuming the person is cool, I do it, but if they bank tip before I get a chance to look I have no idea if they've really tipped.
I'm running 9k+ missions, all of which goes into me bank, and I only check it every so often (about 40mins, whenever it's time to re-apply my Brandy). I pretty much only buff near banks, and tell people, somewhere before I quote my prices that I only accept cash tips, or cash in the window.

There is one way we can fix this our selfs but it is a little bit of a pain. In your macro say that you only except creds from a trade window. Tell them in the macro that any tips will be kept and no buff given. That way if they /report you for stealing creds you have a deffense. The only problemis ittakes time. But you will know that you got your money.
