Oncology is the study of abnormal cell growth. I think Pharmacologist would be a better title.

Hehe, well whatever you call it (and I concurr with the abnormal cell growth description, I am a rl biochemist btw so I should know :smileytongue

It'd certainly be a great way to use a hospital, but I think we'd have to keep the modifications superficial (e.g. no bionic limbs) as it would be had to work out the consequences of degradation. (lol imagine your arm conking out in the wilderness, and having to find two docs and a bio engineer to fix it!) Certainly there is plenty of scope for say, engineering a base resistence to a damage type, or even something non-combat like night vison.
