Well... it certainly took me the longest to get the Master Doctor title from starting out as a Novice Medic (about 3½ months I think)...

Guess I'll have to support my server:

I'm just really good at being impartial.....

My biggest concern about being a Doctor though....I don't heal people anymore.....Ive been a Doctor for quite a few months and spent about an hour at most in the med center. Part of the reason I became a Doctor is 'cause I enjoyed spending time chatting and healing people....Now there is no reason for me to do that.

I heal people if they are polite to me and ask nicely but there is no point for me to actually spend time...'being an actual Doctor'...Im not into PVP, people have tried to hire me to go hunting with them, healing them and rebuffing when necessary but that is definitely not my gig. I don't particularly want to be a 'private doctor'

Forget any bugs or nerfs that people want to bring in, for me the most important thing for any profession is....Why should I keep this profession? (not bonuses, not stacking, not buffs, why as a player and what I enjoy)

Just my two pence (sorry British)

I'm a Master doctor as well and I have to agree. There is almost no incentive to keep healing.
Should there be a Grand Master Class where you can only level with a Butt load of xp and training doctors to master? or maybe a badge showing how many you have healed. Not sure where to go from up but I beleve there can be more to the class (like any class ) once the character class has been mastered.

I've been a Master Doctor since August. I love the profession and would never leave. I respect all the work that T and Z have done as Doctor Correspondent. I think I will throw my crafting apron into the ring.

well I just returned after leaving the game about 6 months ago

I see that imperials are still grief camping the hospital in anchor making it impossible to play there why dont you put some turrets or guards there. and stopimps spawning accross the street

hospitals should be considered safe nutral ground with no combat tolerated inside at least non faction hospitals

its just bad form to camp hospitals one of the reasons I left (that and bashing my head in to the charactor skill celing)

I'm a Master Doctor/Master Merchant. I went this route to assist my Jedi and my Jedi friends with buffing in privacy, but have found the retail business of selling all Doctor crafted products a real great experience. I even branded these products as HAM BAM! Pharmaceuticals, with five stocked vendors near coronet in Wanderhome. Runningthe medical supply business is just a really great break from combat with my Jedi avatar and my alternate account of MBH. Through this business I have alsospent a lot of quality time in game withmore than a dozen other players who have also found long term careers as Master Doctors. I stay active in the forumswhere I focus on authoring and engaging with the threads where game improvement is discussed in healthy dialog. I also enjoy assisting others with responses to questions on given game issues and professions, as well as humorous threads to break the tension we all face at times.

Yeah, there are a lot of people out there with questions, and a lot of people that need training. I do my best to teach them and tell them the best way to go about doing things...

There was a big response for the Doctor Correspondent position. Thanks to everyone who submitted a letter and kudos to everyone. I selected a doctor based on his history on the community, his Doctor web site and his involvement in the community.

Please welcome Agent001 as your new Doctor Correspondent.

Have a great weekend!

Though I'm rather new in the Doctor community I've noticed Agent001's work over at the SWGCraft.com forums, and on occasion visited his excellent Medicresource Iootnega. I trust he will make a good correspondent for our community.

Congrats on the nomination Agent001!
