Thread: 900+ buff packs

I ALWAYS hit 900 using only 10 experimental points, cuz after I use 8 points, they dont allow me to use anymore points to effectiveness so I end up using the rest on charges. It really depends on resources. Now, I dont worry about it going to 900+, I experiment like crazy trying to get over 934. I cant seem to go over 934, and I have the best avian meat (dath) and reactive gas which I have spent millions on.

I also noticed, I have buffpacks ranging from 917-934 and it only extends each stat ranging from 2500-2560 with duration of 3 hours and 40 minutes. I have surveyed a few people about what their preference for buffpacks is and this is the response I got....

8/10 Docs prefer more charges over effectiveness cuz a measly 50-60 points doesnt really make a difference. It just looks good when you advertise but its a very meager difference. They would rather get 10 more charges on each buffpack than a meager 50-60+ on their buff power with only 20 charges.

11/13 consumers prefer the duration over the power. They would rather have a longer duration in their buffs for just 2300 in buff power than a 2500+ power buff that would last only 2 hours.

What about your other components such as ABEC, CDRM, and SDS? They account for the power in your buff experiments too. I use ABEC's that are about 12 in effectivness and 25 in charges. I use CDRMs that are about 65-67 and SDS' that are around 64-66. I use dath avian meat which has 950+ OQ and PE and tolium gas thats 900+ in OQ, 850+ in UT and DR. Those usually gets me buffs around 920 in power and 13258 in duration. My duration never changes cuz I always use the same avian meat and gas so its ALWAYS 13258. (3 hours 40 mins).

Its all in the avian meat. I was making 774s with the same subs, got better avian 900/800 and hit 875. The oq/pe of your avian meat makes a HUUUUGE difference.

You are right, the OQ and PE on avian are the important thing. I used 980/900 avian and got 900+ packs. I am now using 950/500 avian while using much better subcomponents and only hit for 820.

i just makeda schematic for enhance health D pack 904 power 28 charges 3 hours 17 mins duration on 89 med use. Same ones on Action D but only 25 charges

and using only 10 exp points (9 for power and one for med use), butusing very nice resources on Radiant atm (expenssive ones), all resources count, but the most important is avian anyways.

Agree.... Take the same subcomponents and make a Action D Buff pack... I believe that is the one you use generic organic/non-organic. Just use super high oq/pe on generic resources on the Action Buff packwhich is a heck of alot easier to get then the specific named onesand see the huge difference it makes.

I am making 880s on all except actionand on action 930s-940s with the same subcomponents.

The difference you will get from a 55 to a 65 ACRDM or from a 65 to 75 ASDS is just 10 power on your buff. With really great resources you will maybe get 30 more power in your buff pack than with average ones... I think it's a bit sad that components play such a minor part.

You should read the FAQs at the top of the doc boards ... however....

The MOST important factor is the avian meat .... with my 950/500 avian meat everything else the same i get 750 packs and with 950/950 I can easily get over 900 (haven't tested the 950/950 yet so don't know exactly what they come out at but i have some better stuff and got 940 on those .... )

How do you get 12 exp points? I'm a master doc and I'm sure I only get 10.

Clothing attachments, you need +20 for the two extra points.
