another doc/carbineer here.


being a fully buffed master carbineer is ridiculous.


full suit of adv composite, ham not even twitching while you spam normally high-cost moves, stim d's to take yourself to full health if you get low--and since i'm a zabrak, my mind doesn't even get ripped up badly if i toss a heal while wearing that full suit of adv composite.


plus, it looks cool when you're flying "Marauder" in that adv composite and holding an Elite Carbine with a full set of buffs...




though someone already said it in this thread--any elite combat profession will marry well with MD.

fencer and doc are a great combo, because you can buff your stats like mad and you have the speed to kill the big stuff before they wear off.

I've seen swordsman eat fencers alive in PvP... the secret is that swordsman have a mind attack and fencers don't.

Master Doc/Master Dancer works well. I am the most valued member of any party. And i make tons of money. Dont plan on fighting though....

Rifle class uses mind pool.. which is also what docs have a strength in. It's also a distance based profession that suits docs working behind the front line.





I'm in the process of mastering both. 1000 is a WEAK mind bleed. I've stacked for over 2500. Bleeds ignore armor and resists, so the armour piercing of a weapon means nothing in that department. Be careful though, Novice riflemen are fodder, plain and simple. They are only start getting decent at x-x-3-x. Things are different now that the melee multiplier (2.5x) is gone.


Also, rifleman are the npc farming gods, before damage mitigation. With some tactics, a x-x-x-1 rifleman can kill almost ANY NPC. I was killing Nightsister slaves in about 20 seconds, taking only 2 hits from them.


That being said, you just can't pick up a rifle and do well. You really need to learn the class and work with it. No dabbling in this one, getting the Master box will either Triple or Quadruple your DPS.

If your looking for a combat profession, just about any one is a good combo with master doctor, although some are more "uber" then others......with buffs, ability to heal insane damage, heal poisons and disease, your a machine (even with carbines).

I picked Master Doc / TKM and have to say I am incredibly impressed. When buffed, and power boosted I can solo pretty much any mob I choose to take on and only find myself dying when I'm saddled with the responcibility of healing others in my party. I migrated all stats to max mind out (1100/800/1100), with remaining stats being as low as possible and enjoy her 1000x more than my doc/pistoleer/combat medic on shadowfire ....
