Sorry if this has been asked and answered already, but, where is the good herbivore meat coming from right now?

I can't find ANY meat for sale, droped my card ar meat suppliers, no anwsers or "we don't sell that much" If I want to make a scematic of a part that requires 16 or so herb meat I have ot get 16000 units of it in HQ. I can't get any loq quality avian meat in batches over 50.

Kind of off the subject but im curious...does anyone know any rangers or scouts that supply large quantities of meat? Im on the Scylla server and havent been able to find any. Seems like it would be a great way for rangers and scouts to make a ton of money since it doesnt involve any overhead except for time and possible weapon wear. I know i would pay well for herbivore, avian, and most high quality meats.

Try posting on your server forum. Often, you can find a guild of rangers that will harvest vast quantities of meat for sale.

And, as far as the best meat being on the high-end planets, I'm not so sure that's true. Recently, on Flurry, some of the best herbivore meat ever seen appeared on Naboo and, not long before that, some excellent wooly hides (for armorsmiths) appeared on Tatooine and, before that, high quality avian meat was on Corellia.

Of course, the high end planets get their share, as well. I think it's really just a matter of chance. Perhaps, on your server, the last few good shifts just happened to be on the higher end planets.

I think when he said the 'best' herb meat he was referring to largest herbivore creatures. These will yield the best harvestper time invested. And the harvester will often get some nice xp and money to boot. These can only be found on thesecondary planets.

That said, there's been some extremely nice herb meat on Dantooine (pikets, bols) on Starsider.

Hey Ronninn, sorry I am out the medresource business fwiw.

I have to (as well as my PA Leader) beg, berrate, /slap, /bite and bribe friends and others to get herb meat. It is my new profession. Go hunt herbavores, check the avain meat, fly home, fill factories, send emails to friends, try to find a ranger that can be bought, then go hunt again myself.

I am working on buttering up a ranger or two to help with this. I would also be interested in trying to work "with" you if we can find a master ranger willing to travel (I think you are on Naboo also?)

I found this great ranger on Intrepid, Kavina. When the Insect meat was uber, she was able to sell me 27k of it !!! 27k!

I've pretty much struck a deal with her to purchase most if not all her meat she collects. I'll be honest i pay for it though, but i don't mind. With the quantities she brings me, 20 c/u doesnt bother me.

Some sugguestions to getting quanitities of meats.. have a vendor. Email all the rangers you see with your vendor wp. Tell them to offer to you. I have like 4 rangers/others that offer me meats on a daily basis. And when one of them gets me a good stash, i even tip them extra thanking them for their hard work.

Getting quantities of meant is hard and boring work. I let them know they are appreciated.

The best place for herbivore meat is dantooine. I harvest there all the time whether the meat is high quality or low quality since all the people I sell to say that any herbivore meat is better than no herbivore meat.

The issue you must understand is that I ama fairly efficient hunter and on dantooine can pull in about 3k of herb meat an hour solo (less if in a group).Many people want to pay 3 or 4 per for meat since that is what inorganic resources sell. Simply, that means for an hours work, I make 9k not including expenses which include expendables like stims. Quite simply, I am not going to spend an hour collecting for 9k. I can make far more than that running missions.

What is my point? If you want meat, you are going to have to hire a hunter and unfortunately its not going to be cheap. You need to offer upwards of 10 per in order to get a dedicated harvestor to work for you. I am not being greedy or trying to gouge...it is a simple matter of paying a person for their time and that someone that is capable of efficiently harvesting meat in the amounts you need is also capable of making alot an hour simply running missions.

Alternatively, get to know a nice ranger. I personally work exclusively for 1 doctor and 1 armorsmith. I get my Stims and wound packs from the doc free....my buffs are free...and for that I provide the doc with cheaper than market price herb meat and usually I give her avian meat for free since she doesn't need such huge quantities as the herb meat.

Strike a deal...make a friend. It's not easy to collect meats...make a good friend of a ranger and I am sure he will help you out.

what about lokian wild meat?, i can't find a single creature with it

I went hunting on Dantooine with aguild mate of mine who was a master commando / master tka and had 2 at-st's, we went though pikets and bols, I came back with10K+ ofOQ900+ herb meat in under 4 hours. All the other stats on the meat are very high too.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can find the herbivore meat called Dyfod, i think that is how it is spelled, i know its on naboo, but what creatures does it come from and where can I find them?

Depends on several things.

First and most importantly, on your server, is that meat currently being dropped by herbivores. If not, then you are out of luck, as all creatures dropping herb meat drop the same herb meat, with very few exceptions. You will have to wait for a resource shift - yes, meats/hides/bones shift too. This could take days/weeks depending on factors.

Now, if that meat is currently being dropped on your server, go to Naboo and kill any creature that drops herbivore meat. There are guides at the top of this and the Ranger forum to tell you what creatures drop herbie meat. Check those out and you are in luck.

If number one is in effect, you may want to check the guides for other planets, note what creatures drop herbie and check them out and see if there is any quality herbie being dropped on your server. Remember, wimpy herbivores drop the same meat as hellonwheels herbivores, check out the meat by taking out a few wimps first.
