Thread: Those are just scratches, go see a medic

I find myself spending less and less time in the Medical Facilities, due to the fact that as being a master doctor, I don't need the xp, and I just make everyone there mad for healing people for tips. I have been flamed quite a few times:

"Hey, let some of us low level medics have the xp!"

"What xp?"

If you want to make money, go join a hunting party on Dantooine or Yavin or Endor and heal their pets for hours. Hey, it's not as boring as sitting in the Medical Facility waiting for some deathly wounded (and possibly broke) PC to come walking in.

It's funny becuase, once I hit Master Doctor / Master CM, I really have no reason to heal people. Normally I respond with, "There are medics on staff here that will heal you." If I get any lip back from them I just explain that the medics need the EXP and I don't. I will fire off a Wound if someone has more then 500 wounds in one since I can take care of them quickly. I normally keep 1 Health Wound E and a set of Wound -C's for the rest (I spend most of my time on Tatooine and lord know's what flame throwers can do on a planet without water).

If I'm the only "Medic" in the area,I normally fix them up, but the way I've been treated lately has me considering charging up front for my services. You silly people have no right to "Demand" that I tend your wounds.I do it becuase I'm a nice person. You get snippy with me and I'm not going to do it. I spend a lot of money making medical supplies. My firing off a wound treatment pack on you costs me money now and it's a lot of money if I'm healing all your wounds. I've also noticed that most of these "Heal me" people don't tip.

I have chatted for people about healing 7 wounds for them for 10 minutes in the med center. then when they're magically healed I tell them they're all better and to go on their way

the only time i heal those kind of wounds is when i'm tiped at least 1k or are my friend. if someone complain about it tell them they didn't pay you enough to waste your medicin on minor wounds

i usually heal people with my 2h curved sword in my hand and ask them what body part are they giving me as a tip if they haven't tiped me after i'm done. some people ask me if i use it in surgery I tell them i use it after surgery on non tippers. i think it would be more efective if i used one my 2h axe .

People are getting more and more stupid in this game I swear..

I went to Endor with a buddy of mine and we were in the med center there while I buffed us. Some guy comes up and asks if I can heal his wounds. A quick /diagnose showed that he had no higher than 3 wounds in any category and I was like 'uh, no I'm not wasting a bunch of money and resources for meds on those scratches..' and he wasn't too happy with that answer. He said something about 'Money isn't anything when you have over 3 million creds like I do'.. We left and were running around and not even 10 mins later he comes up to our camp and wants me to heal his friggan AT-ST with *1* friggan wound in the first 6 stats..

It's times like that I wish I could disease my fellow Imps.. /sigh

Uh, so WE don't want it, and YOU don't want it in for PvP--then why is it still there??
