Thread: Mass producing stims considerations
Stim C is just a Stim B with better results and higher med use requirements, there should be no work schedule differences between them. They both use a single A/BEC, A/CRDM and A/LS. Wound packs will simply require you to run A/SDS instead of ALS, for Bs and Cs (assuming you have the requisite organic specifics for those).
Mutliple-component thing like Ds and C/D Enhance packs will mess you up some, you will have to change your runs to some other multiple of 2 for the multiple-component parts (e.g., 500 ABECs will only yield 250 Enhance Packs, but you will be left with 250 of the single-use component). A whole extra set of factories wouldn't hurt, they would be working on an different time schedule. The factories making the single-use components would likely sit idle every other day (or sell the product to others who can use them, BE or CM), as only half of their components would be consumed in a product run of EnhanceC/D or StimD/E.
ALS is too easy to get to leave out, ABECs aren't really a problem if you have high-BER harvesters. I have more Lokian Wild Wheat than I know what to do with, as a generic organic it stinks but it does make a very potent ABEC. If you're mass-producing, it's much easier to get a good CRDM in quantity than an excellent ACRDM, the trade-off should be for an ALS instead of an ACRDM. My all-harvester StimBs are coming out 30/350 or so, and I don't have a problem selling them.
PEOPLE WILL BUY ANY STIMPACK-B YOU CAN MAKE. I bought 1500 20/240 StimBs off of a Doc going out of business for 60 cr each, and sold them all for 200-300 each. Decay and "insurance" are working for us -- better to spend money and not die, seems to be the operating law.
