I originally mastered doctor just to be able to buff myself and try something other than being an Arch. If I want to buff in Coronet, which I do about once a week since its so boring, I can make decent money. Basically, I make about triple what I pay for buff packs. I could spend 1million on a complete set of buff packs crated with 10 backs in each (so 300 total buffs) and at 10k a pop thats 3 million once used up. Now, I personally don't want to do that every day, all day when I'm playing. Its much more appealing to buff myself and do missions or group hunt or just plain exploring. Still, there is plenty of money to be made as a doctor with no harvesting at all. Frankly, how much money do you need in the game? I was at over 20 million when I was an arch and walked away because what are you going to spend it on? Armor is relatively cheap. (500k for uber stuff) You don't need super weapons to beat things in this game. (You can solo rancors with decent armor and a good buff and pea shooter of a gun) So, I'm thinking making 3 million for every 1 million spent (2 million profit) is pretty darn decent profit for just sitting in Coronet buffing.

A good way to start and get a stockpile of money is finding a place that sells buff packs. Minimal investment and you can make a ton of money. On my vendors I sell buff sets for 65k a piece, 850+ power with about 25+ charges per stack. You figure at 10k average per buff, you'll have 250,000 when they finish. 185k profit for only investing 65k. You can find a buff macro ( i don't suggest a looping one) that will buff each stat once for a person. So all you have to do is sit there watching tv while people pay u to click on them and hit a button. I'd do this for a while as you build up your resources and get use to crafting. Then you can just make your own buffs and make even more.

You can make okay money buffing. You can probably make $200K an hour, ifyou can find buff packs at a reasonable price. This isn't terrible. It's just less than you can make running Janta Missions.

You can make GREAT money crafting buffs, IF you hunt your own avian and herb meat. And if you have a little bit of luck with spawns. I hunted enough Avian and Herb meat for 300 sets of buff packs. I harvested some of my other resources, but spent about $3 million on out-of-spawn stuff (reactive gas, Dolovite, Class 4). I sold 100 of the packs for $12 million. And still had enough resources left over to craft 150 more, plus the 50 packs I kept for myself.
