If you are thinking PvP, zabrak Doctor/Carbineer is way superior to Doctor/TKA because ranged attacks can't be kited. I've been Doctor/Carbineer since July and I'm well-known in PvP on my server because I was the first to use carbineer with self-buffs meaning I used to kill maybe 30-40 people before I died myself. Theplayer population finally learned about buffs and mind barsso I can't win as often now, but I still do well.

As a zabrak you also have equilibrium which is the most powerful racial ability in the game because when buffed on health and action it gives you a full mind heal. So you can win a battle against eye shot.

actually a doc rifleman is suposed to be better at PvP (and a human one ). - first you migrate your stats to 1000/1000/1000 mind focus will(or maybe 1000/800/1200) . then you buff yourself up and put on the armor - then have a muon gold at a quick key.

Grab a T-21 and start shooting - strafe2 can be shot every second and a half(area of effect shot so you can kill a whole group ofoponents with 2 shots)with nice damage sliced rifle - with muon gold you can't run out of mind. If oponent is not wearing a helm - shot to the head - non healable pool

Rifleman get insane speed mod - 90 VS carbineer of 60 - best a carbineer can do with a powerup is 2 seconds shot. Carbineer is good but rifleman is bettter (and yes chargeshot is awesome - keep the enemy down - but...you miss 1 time and that rifleman will 1 shot you)

I got a Master Doc / Novice Pistoleer on Tempest and am beginning a new Doc on Euro-FarStar now. And again I choose Pistols. But I am wondering now: in what way is an Carbineer better than a Pistoleer?

With my speed 1.2 pistol I could deal out quite some damage over time. How are carbines performing?

Doc - CH

Perfect for me. I do mostly PvE. CH allows me to fight in combat while being able to focus on keeping my party alive.

Mauler kill that Kimo. Bob, you got deseased again? Joe, you get dizzy again and

get knocked down, let me fix that. Max, I told you, you're not allowed to die unless we say you can die.

Drawbacks? Yes. Almost no ability to gain Faction Points beyond minimums. I'm defenseless till I can pull my pets out.

Advantages? YES. Large blockers that can take a beating, and I have the skills to keep them up and running very easilly.

I just got to throw in another word for Doc/TK...I made master doc and am 1-1-2-1 in TK, and I take out Tuskan spawns (Bantha, King, 2 raiders and a commoner) with just my buffs and my beetle to keep the group off of me...if you get a knockdown (KD) and a dizzy in on a 2 legged creature...you win...peroid.

And with the changes to powerboost, in Med 2, thats like another free buff...

I have a rifleman on my main account, im afraid to go against even cons...
