I absolutely disagree with moving the Resuscitation skill to Master Doctor. If someone reaches Novice Doc and wishes to completely forgo the crafting side of things, get their medical supplies from other players, and increase their medical skills that way, then they should be able to earn the rezzing skill.


Having healing skill advancement be awarded after doing a lot of healing is fair. Imposing a crafting requirement to attain Master Doctor is not unfair. Imposing a pointless crafting treadmill on a player who wants to learn a healing skill that is important to the game (groups nead rezzers) is unfun and unfair. Just say no.

the non crafting doctor issue is an excellent point...

the best solution although it would directlysc'rew me over is to basically move the med use on revive packs to a med use 2 or 3 min. this would force others to spend more points in the doctor tree to gain revive...this is a awesome ability and is a class defining one for the docs...and should be harder to access...heheh but fix teh CM class first lol

I agree with both sides on the Resuscitation issue, leaning moreso towards it being a Master Doc skill. At the very least I think the medical use on it should be raised quite a bit, to level 4, or level 3 if experimented well on the Doc Med Use line.


There seem to be many people getting half or even just a quarterof the doc skill tree and being able to do all the amazing feats a Master Doc can do, tho this case may seem less important once our enhance packs actually work, and we have another thing we can do that nobody else can.

Thanks for all the responses and the many good points made.


First of all, as is common in many of these threads, people read something different than what is posted.


This what I said : "Factory problems, making money and making doctors do the work of an artisan (sampling and crafting). While all 3 are major problems, I would call them irritants and not real class breakers....."


I do own a factoryand the fact that thefactory is not working properly is a major bug. As such, people should keep reporting it till the bug is fixed. People talk about how essential a factory is for crafting high end meds. Yes, you need factory-made ingredients for high end meds but I have never had a problem making biocontrollers or liquid suspensions etc. in a factory. The problem is with items such as Stimpacks that need items from the crates and they still can be made but it is quite irritating to manually load the ingredients.


I still feel that fixing enhancements andnot taking away our ability toheal pets are issues that more important to me and they definitely rank above giving doctors a way to make money more easily. Again, this is just my personal opinion.

I agree with many of the comments made by braindoc the factory issue isnt specifically a doctor one but annoying none the less The resicution (SP?) kit should ba at master doctor other wise there isnt much a reason to even go for it I personally am going to get just the crafting and wound healin branch and pick up only enough med knowledge to use the kit. master should aslo give bonuses to med assempbly and med experimentation. one of those 2 bonuses would make it worth while IMHO right now its not. just my 2 cents
