Thread: Enhance Medical Use Levels

Ok, I have a quick question.



Without mod-ing down th usage level on the revive kits, how much medicine knowledge do I need? I plan on doing just the 2 trees of doctor--the one allowing reviving, and the other with medicine usage



I don't generally surf the boards, so I apologize if that's posted elsewhere--but I thought this might be a good place to ask.

Do you experiment the usage down at all, or is that standard? I am trying to figure where exactly to use my points. I went to a character builder site earlier and I am pretty satisfied with what I decided on -- but if I can drop some of doctor, it'll allow me to have more surveying than Novice Artisan

At novice doctor you have 55 med use that is all you should need to use revive kits. All the kits I have made have had 55 med use without experimenting on them. I use advanced components to make them. I have seen some made by others with a med use of 60 but these were made without advanced components. There is no point in experimenting below 55 med use as anyone who can use them will have 55. Also if you mess up and have a failure the Med use can go over 55.

I had a wierd bug while making an Enhance Action B pack tonight. I put 4 experiment points into Ease of Use, and it actually went UP from 57 to 61.

Yes, enhance packs are bugged in ease of experiementing..

God knows when they will fix it

I've been producing resuss packs with medicine use 45-47 or so...
Depends on your experimental success.

I was just about to ask a question about this, when I found this excellent post. Thanks for saving me the trouble!

Now I have a related question: is it generally possible to find shops where master docs sell Enhance D's and revive kits? I'd very much like to save the crafting points for something else.

I'm on Wanderhome. I won't have the necessary skills for a while, but I like to plan ahead

Hello,


As the original poster, I thought I'd give an update on my progress. I am now: Master Brawler, Expert TKA (3,4,4,3), Master Medic and Master Surgeon (0,4,3,0). Things are going great. To answer some questions on this post:


1. Where do I find Enhance D & Revive Kits for sale?


I personally have found 3 Master Doctors which I have a very jovial business relationship with. They charge different amounts for their kits. One is actually a guild mate of mine, and I imagine I'll start to "buy" more regularly from that person.


2. Inventory Management (ok, no one really asked this, but I think it's important)


w/ Armor, Weaponse, Wound Kits, Enhance D Kits, State Packs, and Food, you'll run up against your 50 item limit in no time flat. Given that there is a Food Bug if you're over your 50 item limit (including everything you're wearing) it makes it awful darn hard to juggle all of your stuff.


I've done the following: Bought Crates! I have crates of Food and crates of Enhance D's. This saves me a LOT of heartache and makes my life much easier.


3. Cure Poison and Bleed


Keep in mind that with 0,4,3,0, you do not get the certification of the Cures. If you want that, you will need to go 4,4,3,0.


4. How to level


Enhance D's give mongo experience for every use. My suggestion is to get to 0,2,3,0 as fast as you can. Using Enhances on anything (even pets) will give you 1-3k exp per hit! You'll be up to 0,4,3,0 in no time flat! Imagine how easy it would be to get Combat Medic w/ this exp!


5. Do I sell Enhances?


Yes, I did. After doing some research and market testing, I've found that there is a market on the higher level planets for Enhances. My typical fee is 1k per stat, 5k for all 6 stats. I have quite a few repeat customers (I mean, every 2 hours, every day), but since I'm fairly wealthy, I have not been advertising as much as I had been.


At the peak of my Enhance selling, I had a macro that yelled my pricing and average stats. Every time I'd come back from a Rebel mission on Rori (21k Rebel faction and counting!) I'd hit the macro as I'd grab new missions. If someone sent me a tell, great, 5k. If not, no big deal. I easily made 250k so far from enhancing fellow players. Of course I buff my guild mates for free. Remember, I have crates of the stuff.


OK, well that's my update. Hope everyone is being successful working up the Doctor chain. I love the buffs. Having a group of fully buffed, and fed (mind food) adventurers makes the play level much higher, and the downtime non-existant.

I've never run into a problem with dying and having the stat drop, but it's possible that I just wasn't watching that cloes. If it did happen, it was certain fixed when I took my close off and logged back in at some other time (wait at least 20-30 minutes before logging back in, though, or it may even need a server reboot to get it coveredn, not completely positive on that one.)




Ummm does this mean I am borked? I just added three skill tapes to my dress and gloves last night and then logged out...without taking the clothes off....

Not completely borked, no. It just means that you need to remember to take them off the next time you get ready to logoff.


It shoul dbe noted that using DevTracker it appears that Holo is under the impression this is fixed (I know it is not yet fixed on Live) and said that if it was not alreayd on Live (which it isn't) then it should be in the next Update.
